grainy!
3I have purchased the balm from another retailer and it wasn't grainy. This one from Cult Beauty wasn't up to my expectations. I prefer the oil version tho. Yet the cloth that came with the balm was rough not like the one I bought first time, and I think it was harsh on my sensitive skin causing micro-tears, perhaps! I recommend using the product, just make sure it's in good condition.

An amazing balm
5I've previously tried popular K beauty cleaning balms, let me tell you they are not balms. This is the real deal! It is such a beautiful, rich, soothing, moisturising balm. I never thought a cleansing balm can have skin benefits itself (besides cleaning) but this balm makes my skin appear brighter, and more supple/hydrated. It is on the expensive side, but it's so rich and dense, it will last for a long time.

Best balm cleanser
5Love this cleanser. I’m not a massive fan of the smell of it personally but it leaves my skin clean and soft without feeling overly stripped and tight. There’s no feeling of any residue on my face either which I have experienced with other balms. I have oily skin and suffer from acne - I usually use this as my first cleanse at night. Have tried a few other balm cleansers and so far this one remains my favourite! The cloth is lovely too - I like that it’s two-sided.

Great soothing balm
5I don't wear a lot of makeup but I like to double cleanse at night. This balm is so comforting and soothing. It gives a kind of massage with a heavenly smell. I use a tiny bit for the whole face and neck and focus on my T zone area. Then I wet my face and use the amazing cloth, first with the fluffy side to give a light exfoliation, then with the other side to wipe off everything. My face after is glowing and squeaky clean without a drop of oil or dirt, ready for the next step. I look forward every night to using the Emma Hardie balm!
