Very disappointed
3I love the original mascara so I went for this one hoping it will be improved somehow.. I like the brush, the mascara is nice and the lashes look good when applied in two coats. For about an hour, then it gets smudged, flakes all over the face, transferred above the eyes.. Such a disappointment for me. Will definitely not buy again.

Impressive but only for a bit
3As a self proclaimed mascara junkie, the lashes are okay but after wearing it three times, I’ve thrown it in the bin because the transfer under my eyes was ridiculous, even using a setting powder on my concealer. Won’t buy again.

Amazing length and lift
5I have found this mascara amazing. I was quite sceptical of the magnetic formula and I am also not a huge fan of benefit mascara... So was not expecting much, BUT this one is amazing. The brush separates lashes really well and the formula/brush gives a really nice lift which lengthens the lashes without having to curl them first. I found the formula to be a nice consistency which covers the lashes well - would absolutely recommend it if you go for length over volume. I will be buying this again!

Disappointed
2I thought this mascara would be better than the original but stick to the original! The brush is good however the mascara itself ended up smudged under my eyes by lunchtime. I have persevered however the same thing happens every time I wear it. Can't recommend, although the original is fantastic!

Best I have tried!
5I have loved Bad Gal Bang since the launch so wasn't expecting to love this more- but honestly the best mascara I have tried. Super thickening & lengthening you get a decent amount of playtime so can really build up if you wish. I would say you need a good remover but who cares... it stays on all day and looks so much better than my other recent mascara purchases. A BIG difference.

Disappointed
3As someone that normally loves Benefit mascaras, I was super excited for the opportunity to try this but, I have to say I was quite disappointed. It did give me some length but the mascara feels quite dry when applying and didn't give me any additional volume. I normally like volume over length so maybe this one just isn't for me. But what made it really disappointing was that it gave me the dreaded 'panda eyes' at the end of the day. This is an absolute deal-breaker for me and I have to say I won't be reusing this mascara sadly. I'll stick with 'They're Real' next time.

Very disappointing
2Reading the reviews on here, I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the mascara I received specifically, but my experience was completely different from most people's. Some background info: I'm a huge fan of benefit mascaras - all of them work amazingly for me, which is why I was so excited when this one came out! Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment, as I didn't get much curl or length from it, found the formula extremely dry and non-buildable (if you try to apply more than one coat it gets really flaky and clumpy). It's very strange, but I just didn't get the 'new mascara' feeling I usually get when I open a new mascara when you apply and there's a lot of product, coating your lashes instantly and working like a dream. It was quite the opposite, I got that old mascara feeling when the product is quite dry and just doesn't want to coat your lashes properly anymore - I'd say it's down to the formula and the brush - it feels like it doesn't hold or apply much product at a time. If you're looking for a good mascara, I'd recommend benefit's BadGal Bang mascara! Avoid disappointments and skip this one!!

I'm a little bit closer to my lash extensions...
4My lashes have been going to lash rehab in the current lockdown and I've really tried to nourish them in the hopes they'll grow long so I won't need lash extensions or they'll grow thicker so I can have a different style of lash. In the meantime, this mascara shows off all my hard work and really helps to elongate my lashes and make them look va-va voom! I love it, the only downside is it's incredibly hard to get off but as a skincare enthusiast, I know to double-cleanse every evening!

Very impressed
4My first impressions of this mascara were really positive because I have never used a mascara before where I didn’t need to curl my eyelashes. It really did lift each individual lash, including the ones that usually do their own thing (even after being curled into place with a lash curler). I was shocked. It’s not the most long-wearing mascara that I have tried and it did transfer under my eyes and a little bit on to my brow bone so I would recommend applying powder to these areas to avoid this.
