Pleasantly surprised

This cream had me pleasantly surprised. I have quite dry skin, and for me this wasn't too heavy or oily on my skin. The smell wasnt too overwhelming, but I also have no sensitivity to scent in my skincare. The colour of the product and the iridescence of it in the jar doesn't really translate over the skin in my opinion. Overall I would buy it again.

I think its my second fave moisturiser!

My original thoughts when I used this moisturiser were bad! I thought the smell was too much and the essential oils...surely they cannot be good for your skin. Anyway this moisturiser changed my mind. I love the consistency, you dont need much at all. The smell doesn't linger for too long. Surprisingly very moisturising. I have combo/dry/sensitive skin.

It's a purple glittery no from me

It's sticky, not hydrating and it's got purple tint to it. It's just not for me unfortunately.

Quite heavy but great for my skin

This is not a "light" product. If you are looking for a moisturiser you can hardly feel, that's not it. I love the texture and the way it makes my skin feel moisturised for a full day. The texture is heavy so I can apply make up without any primer on top, getting the finish that I want. I'm on my 4th pot already and not planning to stop.

I really like it!

I’ve been wanting to try out wishful for a long time, particularly the scrub but was cautious as I had been less than impressed with a Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette. It’s expensive so I was pleased when some Christmas mini sets launched and they happened to include this moisturiser as well as the scrub. I was surprised but this moisturiser was the hit for me! It’s light but feels really hydrating and good on the skin, yes it’s fragranced but personally, that doesn’t bother me. Just for info, I’ve also been trying out the Fenty day & night creams and I feel a bit more hydrated with this one, it pains me to say this as I’m an avid Fenty beauty fan. I have combination skin and it’s definitely becoming dryer with age (I’m 41), during winter and whilst stuck at home during lockdown so I really need something hydrating. After a few months use I’m definitely seeing an improvement in the overall look of my skin, more even.

Amazing

This feels so luxurious on my skin, and smells so nice. Lasts all day and my makeup sits really well on it. My complexion has also improved and pores definitely appear smaller. A great addition to my skin care routine.

Great moisturiser for dry skin

I originally got a small sample of this in an order and almost immediately fell in love with it, ordering the full size shortly after. My skin would tend towards very dry (but not sensitive or prone to breakouts) and I’ve been using the cream for about two months every day when writing this review. It is a very thick ‘balm like’ consistency but absorbs well into my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy, only hydrated. I’ve not really encountered any other moisturisers with the same consistency, and it doesn’t feel as heavy on my skin as the other moisturisers I’ve tried designed for dry skin, which is perfect. While I would normally use this at night, I’ve had a few goes at using it in the morning as well and have had no problems with makeup going on over it. There is a scent, but I don’t find it overpowering (I actually like it). I can see how this might not be the best solution if you have greasy skin, but it’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a good moisturiser for dry skin - I will be repurchasing this.

Perfect for night time

I understand the contrasting opinions about this, I really do. This balm won't be for everyone, but I actually love it. I got the sample and I just had to buy it. First off, I adore the lavender scent. I use it in my night time routine which helps me sleep, although I can see why other people may not like it because it's strong. I normally love a really thick moisturiser, however, I've changed my mind after this. Initially, it looks as if it would be a heavy mixture but it melts right into my skin without feeling runny, as some brands can be. My skin always feels super soft when I wake up.

Love it!!!

I really struggle with moisturisers leaving an oily residue on my skin or not being hydrating enough. This one is the perfect balance! Plus I love that it smells on lavender!
