Love this!

This product deserves much more love! I really struggle with moisturiser breaking me out and have searched for a richer product for nighttime that doesn't leave me covered in little white spots. This is perfect. It feels really creamy without being too heavy and makes my skin feel lovely. I got it as part of a goody bag and I have just repurchased.

Hydrating To The Max

I use this for my sandwich method when I'm re-introducing retinol in my routine. I apply this then my paulas choice retinol then this again. I've never felt any tightness in my skin at all. And my skin feels so soft and silky when I wake up in the morning. It really does what it promise. Sadly I run out of this (waterbank) moisturiser. My different back up moisturiser is not as good as this one. I realised how amazing this product in protecting my skin when I started using a different brand. I promise to buy this once I run out of my current brand (I just can't throw the different brand away. Its not moneywise).

Nice! But won't repurchase

I preferred their other versions of day cream, which was more creamy. Yes, this is fresh, light and delicate which is great for normal (to perfect) skin, I personally need more moister than this, from what I could feel during the day. In the summer the skin needs deep moisture because of the sun exposure, and this wasn't enough. And no, in my opinion this is definitely not enough as a night cream. Smells good, not too much though. Finished quickly.

I received this as part of the Good To Glow goodie bag, and absolutely adore it! I probably wouldn't have tried it had I not been given it, as the product itself appears quite understated and the description doesn't make over the top promises. Where to start...the packaging itself is cute, a baby blue cube with rounded edges, which comes with a little applicator scoop. The cream is silky and feels indulgent, but at the same time isn't overly thick or rich - it's quickly absorbed and leaves behind a satiny, rather than sticky, finish. I have been adding a few drops of Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil as I've been trying to use it up, and it mixes well with very little effort. Obviously, adding a facial oil does make the cream go further, but even on its own a little goes a long way. My previous favourite evening moisturiser was Herbivore Aquarius (another baby blue product actually!) but given that the Laneige is much cheaper and, in my opinion, performs better, I'll be sticking with this going forward!

Old vs New Water Bank

Skin type: Combination, Complexion: Clear, Age: 35 As someone who loved the original version of this (Water Bank Moisture Cream), I'm reviewing it to compare while I still have a little left of the original and can say I'm quite happy with it. In appearance the new Water Bank cream looks the same. The smell is a bit softer but similar, and the original didn't have a strong scent to begin with so if you found the original Water Bank cream's scent a bit strong, this should possibly be all right for you. The consistency is a touch thinner, making it come across as a little less rich or, if you worry about your face feeling clogged or caked, not as thick. Compared to the gel version of Water Bank, it's still thick and soothing though. It absorbs at a similar speed as the original and leaves my skin feeling the same. Until it has absorbed fully into the skin, the new Water Bank cream will feel a bit thinner but that's all. Unfortunately I'm not a huge full face of makeup wearer so I can't give commentary on how either cream sits under foundation, contour and powders. Overall, I'm happy with the new version as it still does what the old one did and there's barely any physical difference between the two. A good cream before, especially if you have dry skin or are dry in parts, and a good cream now!
