Four stars because the jaguar-print packaging is gorgeous, it applies nicely, it lasts well and it is undoubtedly as advertised- a matte lipstick in the colour from my favourite decade.   One star off because I’d forgotten that even Billy Bob-era Angelina Jolie couldn’t convincingly pull off this shade of cooked chicken liver beige.

The quality of this lipstick component is amazing. The weight, the gorgeous leopard print embossing and the magnetic click when you close the lid is very satisfying! I bought Ninetease and tbh it can pull a little grey on me (more to do with my complexion than the lipstick I guess) but I’ll warm it up with a lip liner if needed. Another lovely product from Vieve.

This is my 90s supermodel fantasy come true. It has a creamy texture and it glides on giving full coverage in a couple of swipes. Colour is more brown than pink and really complements my fair skin tone especially when used with the eye palette.

Slightly darker than expected

This was slightly darker than I expected, I have fair/medium skin tone and with fake tan on my face it still seemed more towards a dark brown rather than the pinky nude I was expecting.  Nevertheless the texture is lovely and creamy, it glides on the lip and last me a full night out! Love the formula.

Gorgeous creamy texture and it glides on the lip- lasted me a full night out!  One downside for me is the colour is less pinky nude and more darker brown. I have fair/medium skin tone and it just seemed a lot darker on me than the photos I’d seen. Still love it though!
