Avoid Avoid Avoid!
1I was excited to try this after reading great reviews but I can't see how it's possible anyone would rave about this. The packaging is super heavy but the brush isn't (so the lid make the wand top heavy & tricky to use, I ended up with mascara on my lid more often that not. But it's the flaking that's the real issue .. that and it's total inability to withstand a drop or two of rain. It instantly starts to slide off the lashes ... you can see it in your line of vision as it's starts to slip down the lash on to your face. It's very possibly the worst mascara I've ever used.

Amazing
5The best mascara out there. It doesn't smudge under the eyes and washes off easily. I'll never use any other mascara ever❤

Beautiful
5I was eager to try this VB mascara as the brand (mascara) that I had used for years I had just found out tested is on animals! VB is cruelty free- so this is a massive plus for me. I won’t use a brand now that isn’t cruelty free. I like a naturally glossy understated gently lifted lash- and this is absolutely stunning! You can build it if you want to- but I like the natural look it gives… it’s perfect! No caking or clumping- or flaking. Comes off gently with warm water too. Love love love! I am excited to try other items in the line now.

Not great but not horrific!
3I was super impressed with VB’s lipsticks & eye pencils so thought I’d give this a go. I love a mascara with a slim wand & I prefer a tubing formula so this seemed to tick all the boxes. I’m not sure whether is the skinny but curved brush, the thick formula or the narrow design of the tube opening but all in all they are not a good combination! The wand picks up far too much of the thick formula, which gets messy when you try not to waste it by wiping it on the rim of the tube & then try & get it back inside so it doesn’t dry up. Once you’ve cleaned up the wand of excess product the teeny bristles still seem too clogged to wiggle through your lashes with any grip. It’s more like you’re gently painting on the colour. Now I adore a tubing mascara & the fact that they don’t flake as much & yes I am fussy but after a day at work this definitely flakes & my under eyes are speckled with little black flecks of mascara. On the plus side this is very easy to rinse off & my lashes feel slightly more nourished. I think if all you wanted a natural look for a quick lunch date this would probably be fine but I’m underwhelmed & wont repurchase. I much prefer Hourglass Unlocked or Kevyn Aucoin The Volume.

Victoria Beckham mascara
5I ordered this after seeing it featured on This Morning where it was described as “Smudge Proof.” It’s totally true!!! My usual mascara always left smudges when I did an exercise class but VB doesn’t budge. So pleased with it & strongly recommended.

Just color
1I have thin lashes and usually buy volume mascaras. This mascara did nothing for me. It probably is a good mascara if you are only after a little bit of colour. It didn’t itch at all. Not even after sleeping with it. I guess that’s a plus.

Very drying
2The formula is very drying on your lashes and it’s really flakey. This is not something I would recommend your use everyday I think it would be damaging to your lashes. The brush is a good size and the packaging is brilliant really shame about the product.

Beware!
1Don’t use this if you value your lashes! After using for 4 days and following removal instructions I noticed the tips of my lashes had all broken off. Very disappointed. Went straight into the bin.

5I’m not a big fan on wearing mascara as I always hate the heavy feeling on my eyelashes. This mascara is perfect for those who want a natural, light, long look. And on top, this mascara does not smudge! My number one mascara.
