Just okay
3It is a nice mascara, it holds a curl okay and waterproof to a point but the wand I hate. It can be clumpy and easy to smudge or apply badly.

Not smudge proof
1I tried this mascara the first day and I had panda eyes every time I looked in the mirror. The mascara has smudged all over my brow bone. Is this is even a waterproof mascara?!! This is not ok. Never had this so much with any other mascara

Hands down the best one I've ever used
5I've been using this waterproof mascara for almost four years now and its never let me down!! I've tried two other mascaras from different brands along those years and I was so disappointed that I said I'd never use anything else but Better Than Sex. It smudges a bit under my right eye but that's only because it's quite watery. Other than that, I only have good things to say about it. It is the only one that keeps my eyelashes in place after using a lash curler and it is really waterproof, unlike others. It never crumbles and it separates my eyelashes like no other!! I always receive compliments because people think I'm wearing falsies hahah Don't know what I'd do without it! Especially after those long 12 hour shifts.

Not worth it
1I found this mascara dry, clumpy and generally disappointing. Not worth the money at all, the brush is a really awkward shape which just increases the clumping and does nothing for lengthening lashes. I would certainly not purchase again.

Smudgy
2I used the original Better Than Sex mascara for a while and really enjoyed it, but this one is just a hassle... It looks great when you apply it but smudges like crazy. The worst part of that is, since it's waterproof, it really gets stuck under your eyes as well. My eye makeup remover is oil-based and has done a great job at removing every other mascara I've used, but with this one, I have to keep rubbing almost to a point of irritation before the wipe comes off clean. It's just too much work with this one.

Great finish but not smudge-proof
3I am always on the lookout for a great smudge-proof mascara that volumizes and defines my lashes. I was so excited to try this and I absolutely loved the finish it has and it was everything I was looking for, to begin with: my lashes were volumized without looking clumpy, defined, and lengthened. However after an hour or so I noticed panda eyes creeping up on me and sure enough by the end of the day, it had transferred onto my brow bone and smudged underneath without me applying to my lower lashes. I'm so sad I didn't love this, and I know other people will get on really well with it, I gave this to my best friend and it's perfect for her! If you are prone to oily eyelids I would definitely go for a tubing formula though, as this still smudges if you struggle with this.

Disappointed
1After trying out several waterproof mascaras I decided to give this a go as the reviews seemed good. I'm afraid I was really disappointed - the brush is a strange shape which does not lengthen your lashes but clumps them together as if the mascara is old and has dried out. Also, my eyes water a lot in the Winter and after using this mascara I turned up to a meeting looking like a panda. Really don't bother.

Great Mascara!
4This is one of the few mascaras that keep my lashes curly after using my eyelash curlers. So many flatten and straighten my lashes instantly but this does not do that. I find the brush hard to use which is the only reason that I’ve given it a 4 instead of a 5. I normally like long bristles on a mascara brush but this did not seem to apply mascara by using the full brush, I found that I had to use the tip of the brush. This mascara builds to a really thick, full lash and stays dark and a strong black all day. Love it!

Rubbish
1This mascara is awful and when applied it clumps up your eyelashes and the brush is a ridiculous shape. Very very disappointed especially for the price.

Disappointed
2After using the original Better Than Sex mascara, I had high hopes for this... great packaging but I was very disappointed with the product. Twice I wore this and twice all day I’ve had to wipe away black marks off my skin from under my eyes.. Very annoying, don’t think it’s waterproof at all.
