Perfect if you know how to use it
5My skin has so many issues. I have cured acne but still have combination skin, with very wide pores, post acne, rosacea and couperose. In my case, I am not allowed to use acid peels because it provokes rosacea and couperose, and superficial retinoids are not suitable for me. For a long time I was looking for a product with azelaic acid, but I had a terrible allergy and contact dermatitis to any products with azelaic acid, but my cosmetologist said that in my case it is the only thing that can improve the condition of my skin. I came across Ordinary and didn't have much faith in it. But decided to give it a try. This product is the first of the azelaic acid products that didn't cause me any allergies. It is very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and smells neutral. I apply it only on some areas and very rarely on the whole face. It is mainly on the T-zone, chin and cheeks. It is important to wash your hands thoroughly after application. Perhaps many who complain about this product use it too often, I use it as a peel, 1-2 times a week MAXIMUM. I wash my face, tone my skin and apply a very thin layer of the product on dry clean skin, spot on inflammation. I wait for some time when it is fully absorbed, usually 15-25 minutes, and then I apply a regular moisturizer on top. I use it before going to bed. After moisturizing cream, the skin tingles a little in the places of application, this is normal. After 1-2 days a slight exfoliation starts, I just moisturize my skin as usual while the acid is working and voila. I've been using the serum this way for over 2 years in this pattern. My rosacea skin is no longer so red, it looks fresher and brighter. My cuprosis doesn't look inflamed. I highly recommend in addition to this serum to use also on the other days any serums with a high concentration of Centella and Niacinamide, then the effect will be even better.

Maybe a bit too strong for me
3I had heard really good reviews on this product so thought I would try. Whilst it makes my skin/mild rosacea feel softer it does also sometimes leave it stinging and feeling sensitive. Because of this I wasn’t able to use it long enough to notice any difference in skin tone/texture

Love
5This is amazing for hyperpigmentation. I was so worried it would clog my pores but it didn’t.
