My Holy Grail
5This particular product from The Ordinary has been a skin saviour! Truly! I could see my dark acne scars faded. Hence, would definitely repurchase as it works well when combined with Niacinamide.

5I keep repurchasing this. It’s very hydrating and I can honestly say my post-acne pigmentation has decreased dramatically. In general, my skin just feels better after I use it. I’d recommend it.

Life changing
5Now that I have used this product for an entire year and am purchasing a second bottle today I’m going to leave my review on this bottle of absolute magic! Background: Combination skin, but when my skin is dry it is literally peeling. I have very acne prone skin, despite good eating habits and cutting out dairy, hormones and genetics gave me incredibly bad acne in my early teens and came back again when I turned 17. Prescribed acne medication got rid of the pimples but I was left with red and brown marks on my skin that were completely flat but looked like acne. It was all over my face and my confidence was at an absolute low, couldnt even look people in the eyes because of it. I contacted The ordinary team and asked them for their recommendations and they reccomended this. I’d already used the lactic acid 5%+HA and didnt find much difference. But this product has helped me fade marks and red/brown hyperpigmentation that has been on my face since I was 14 (im now 19) Of course I still get some spots here and there from hormones but because I use this every morning they dont leave marks. buy it!!!

Best for hyperpigmentation
5Truly like no other when it comes to hyperpigmentation! After two weeks there was a major reduction in my acne scarring and dark spots - so impressed, especially for the price.

Does work
5I have stubborn dark spots on my face and legs, I wished to get rid of. I can honestly say that this has helped fade the marks by 60/70%. Will definitely buy again.

Hyperpigmentation hero
5I suffer from hormonal spot which leave bright red scaring on my face for up to 6 months. This product has truly been a life saver and left me feeling pretty again. Scars don’t completely disappear but when used consistently results are apparent within 3 days. My scars fade significantly, enough to be covered with light makeup. I’m so happy I found this product.

Budget Pigmentation Hero!
5Cheap yet effective! Perfect for my oily skin which tends to scar from hormonal spots. The texture is almost liquid-gel like and dries down a little tacky but once moisturiser is applied, you feel none of that tackiness. It really has worked for me.

The Best
5This is by far the best serum to take care of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. I love it. After many very expensive visits to the dermatologist, and expensive drugstore treatments that did not worked. This serum faded the dark spots in just one week. They are sooooo much ligther. I strongly recommend it. Amazing!

Worked within a week
5I used this when I got loads of hyperpigmentation marks on my jaw out of nowhere. Using this serum evening & morning (with SPF in the day) made them pretty much disappear in a week! Including some stubborn ones on my chin that I’ve had for years. Very impressed. I used this by itself with no moisturisers etc and it didn’t dry me out or cause any issues.
