Not for me
1It breaks down makeup fairly easily and doesn’t have trouble with more stubborn products like mascara, but it definitely leaves an oily film behind. I obviously double cleanse with a water based cleanser which should remove that, but I don’t find I get the same residue with other products. I have sensitive and clog prone skin, having experienced years of acne as a teenager, and I’ve definitely noticed an increase in blemishes when I use this product. That’s not to say it will happen for everyone, but it’s just not for me. There is so much hype around this product and I really wanted to love it given the price point and struggling to get a hold of my favourite, albeit more expensive, cleansing balms.

Good at removing makeup
4First cleanse without any frills. The cleanser removes makeup effectivly and that combined with a great pricepoint makes it a four star product for me. A bonus is that it doesn´t irritatate my sensitive skin.

great 1st step in double cleanse
4Does what it says on the box. Great for when my skin in sensitive or to remove make up. I prefer other cleansing balms, this is fair value for money and non drying.Â

Love it
5I’ve tried so so many oil based cleansers and balms to remove make up and I always always come back to this. Can’t beat it, does the job, super gentle, doesn’t hurt my eyes, lasts ages and is so affordableÂ

Great simple cleanser
5Removes all my makeup (including waterproof mascara) with ease. My eyes don’t go foggy and it’s really gentle on my skin. I’ve re-purchased this product 5+ times now!Â

3I think this is good it does remove makeup and breaks those barriers down, good if you use a thick SPF
