Brighten-i Eye Cream

It helped me with my puffy eyes in the morning and with my dark undereyes. Has a nice feeling to it and made look more awake! Amazing.

I don't usually write negative reviews, however, I have spent today with a cold flannel under my eyes to soothe the irritation it has caused. I chose this product after a lot of research because I was looking for an under eye cream to conceal dark circles. On paper this seemed to match my criteria perfectly, however upon use I didn't see much difference. If anything it made my under eyes crease making it difficult to apply any makeup. A couple days in after use, I decide to apply it in the evening hoping it could work some magic overnight. Instead I woke up sore red under eyes. I don't know what ingredients in it that's causing a reaction, but I would hope it was gentle enough to put on an area that can be so delicate (hence having a specific cream for it). If I could upload a picture, I would. It has left my under eyes red, raw and creased. I'm 22 but it has made me look like an old woman with the wrinkles it has caused! Clearly the opposite effect of what you want a cream to do.

Doesn't do much brightening and doesn't hide any dark circles. However it has a light texture and the metal tip is cooling.

Makes no difference

This was a fail for me - the initial reviews were great and i had some hopes, but after 3 months of regular use i see absolutely no difference. I'm 28 and i don't have to deal with many wrinkles yet, but i do have a few under my eyes where my skin is also more dry than the usual. I have some darkness under my eyes but nothing crazy. That being said, i didn't need miracles from this cream but some solid hydration under the eyes. It's not nearly hydrating enough, the applicator is way too big and uncomfortable although i must say it is nice that it's cooling. The cream is very and i mean very liquidy and it can pour out tons of product if you don't press very gently. Also better keep it horizontally so that it doesn't pour out all of a sudden. I must say i won't recommend or repurchase.

Does make a difference

I didn't think it was doing much, but then I used a different eye cream whilst on holiday and I realised my under eye circles looked darker than usual! So I was glad to go back to using this. I like the metal tip which is cooling, it can be a little hard to get out carefully as it's so liquid.

So, I purchased this last year in November after I saw that there were quite a few lines and dryness under my eyes after I put on foundation one evening. I am mostly UK based and have fair sensitive and combination skin (and quite acne-prone) and what I have found is that the only time my skin under my eyes doesn't sting or burn is when I apply it on clean skin BEFORE any serums or treatments (I use Paula's Choice anti-redness treatment and then her moisturiser) ) if I use it after serums etc it is uncomfortable. I haven't really noticed much of a difference (but that is only because I haven't been using it religiously) HOWEVER, I do think that it really depends on your skin and how it reacts to various products. So, far I can't really complain and it does really help with puffiness and I give The Inkey List props because their prices are very affordable. I also like that when I put it on bare skin how cooling and soothing it is.

I initially read great reviews of this and I love every other product I've bought - but this doesn't do much for me at all. Absorbs easily but can't see any difference.

Doesn't do much

I wanted something that brightens and cools my eyes in the morning before my makeup. The metal tip is lovely! But that's the only thing I like about this. The eye cream itself doesn't do anything for me. Im 25 so my under eyes aren't that dry they just need a bit of refreshing in the morning. I've used this every day and honestly haven't seen a difference even straight after application. Much better eye creams out there for the same price. Nice for the cooling tip, but if you actually want something that you'll see a visible difference, don't waste money on this.
