Great oil
5I have oily and spotty prone skin, and used to think that I couldn't use oils. But the ingredients in this are great for my spot prone skin. I only use in the evening as yes its an oil and i doubt it would sit inder makeup well, but have absolutely noticed an improvement in my skin over time. I have already used a bottle and repurchased!

Still using it but skin has started to clear
4When I first started using this my skin broke out which is the opposite of what I got this for, but now I can see how it is making a difference with breakouts and hyperpigmentation. In a short time I can see my skin brighter and smoother. I’m impressed.Â

Amazing results after just one use!!
5I have been suffering from hormonal acne for some time but this month it was particularly worse. I am dry and have lots of texture all of a sudden. I bought this oil thinking it could try to combat the dryness and acne on one. I have seen a huge improvement after just one use. My acne is reduced in size and redness and the texture is less obvious. I’m really excited to continue using this to see just how much my skin improve over time. On a side note to Cult Beauty, as I’m writing this review, you’ve asked me to confirm my gender. There are two options, male and female. May I politely ask you to educate yourselves on gender and either a) remove the question of gender or b) make the answers more inclusive.Â

Have yet to notice a difference
3I purchased this having run out of the drunk elephant oil and wanted to see the difference, however I have noticed my skin looking greasy not glowing with this product. I probably won’t purchase again as have yet to see what it adds to my beauty regime especially for the price. Potentially an overhyped product.Â

Great
5I first tried this oil during the home confinement period of the pandemic where my skin (sensitive, with rosacea) was very red and getting little pimples, this really helped reduce redness and inflammation. It became a must have on my routine, just bought another bottle, it lasts for a long time.

Disappointed
2I was hoping this oil would help with my acne, but after using it for a few months, I must say it has done absolutely nothing for my breakouts. It hasn't made existing acne go away faster, neither has it prevented new ones from forming. I won't go as far as to say it's broken me out (I think other products were at fault for that) but this definitely did not do for me what it promised it would. Giving this 2 stars only because the oil sinks in really quickly and I quite like the smell of it, but I will not repurchase.

3Bought this to help treat my hormonal/pcos acne on my chin & jaw area and I didn't notice much of a difference to occurrence of new spots, inflammation or to scarring, despite regular use over a few months. It also dried out my skin a little. This is the only Sunday Riley product I've ever been disappointed in. But giving it three stars still as perhaps it would work better for different acne issues.
