A bit too much brush

5So soft and allows makeup to go on so flawlessly and is priced well in comparison to others on the market, I was surprised how little difference there was between this one and one’s I have at triple the price, great productÂ

Great coverage
5This brush packs on powder and liquid foundation really well, have also used it for setting powder with results that give an amazing finish to the skin. Truly one of the best I’ve used especially for the price point, fab valueÂ

OK...
3I bought this because I use a buffing/kabuki brush to apply tinted moisturiser (I don't use foundation) and because I wash my brushes after each use, I like to have a couple of back ups whilst the others are properly drying out. Admittedly, I am spoilt as my main brushes are a set of luxury Zoeva ones, but I've got other Spectrum brushes and love them so thought I'd give this a go. I was quite disappointed that when opening the packaging to remove the protective plastic cover the entire ferrule separated from the handle, although this was easily fixed with some superglue. It does, however, make me more cautious when washing it knowing that the ferrule isn't tightly fitted. The brush head itself is fine, it's soft and thick, although it's definitely not as dense as my other two buffer/kabuki brushes so doesn't leave nearly as smooth a finish as I'm used to. As I said though, I am spoilt by my other brushes. It's adequate, and good value, but could be improved on.

Great for foundation
5Great brush for foundation. I use this for both stick and liquid foundations and it buffs and blends the product beautifully. I have several different Spectrum brushes and have always been pleasedÂ

Disintegrated when cleaned
2I loved this brush and it didn’t lose bristles when using however I washed it gently with a proper make up brush cleaner and the entire head fell out. Really sad as I loved it but now won’t buy again because I need brushes that can be washed regularly and reused.Â

So far so good
5Just started to use this brush. It blends foundation well. Hopefully it will keep all its bristles for a long while to come as this has been a problem with other foundation brushes I have used in the past.
