Good gel
4I prefer the leave-in conditioner for a softer, more natural-looking hold. Like other gels this goes a little stiff/inflexible but did the job when needed.

The business
5This curl gel is a-mazing. It’s more of a cream than a gel. No crunchy bits. No flaking. I have tightly coiled hair so use about 10p blob each day after some of the Pattern leave-in spray. Perfect!

Good but not amazing
3This is a nice curl gel but I find it can be a little heavy at times and doesn’t always hold the curl after coming. I would say it provides a light medium hold and doesn’t get crunchy at all!

Game Changer, couldn’t be more happier with this product!
5I have been looking for a better regime for my curls. My hair used to frizz a lot and the curls were undefined. I have been going through so many products to find the right curl treatment that works for my hair type. I have curly hair type 3A/3B and it doesn’t do well with oily products. This pattern curl gel is more of a hair cream and it is really good. My hair doesn’t frizzy as much as it did before. If it does I reapply and style on dry hair with this cream as well as using the other pattern products such as the shampoo and medium conditioner. Using all three products really works and apply. Use the products and use the Pattern Curl gel on wet hair, let the hair dry naturally and curls are defined without frizz. Couldn’t be more happier with this product. It is such a game changer and my hair has defined curls and looks fuller.

I think the risk paid off!
4I had been struggling for ages with curl products that either dried out my hair or made it to heavy that the curls fell too quickly. I took a risk on this and I think it paid off. It defines your curls really well and helps set less curly bits if your hair is a mixture of textures (mine is) by setting curls that you twist in. If you add it to wet hair and scrunch and go, it may seem crunchy once dry but this crunchiness can be rubbed out by hand. I'm really pleased with this.

4Didn’t have to use much after shampooing my shoulder length hair. Had a good curl once my hair naturally dried. Felt soft too. Would buy again

More like a cream than a gel
4I wanted to try this gel out to see if it would work for 2A-C hair types. It's a lot more nourishing than more transparent gels out there. It does give a nice hold to the hair and there is no crunchy feeling. However, on my 2b hair, I need to wash my hair more frequently if I use this.
