Great product for light skin tones
5Great lip liner! easy to use and stays for really long time

Very good!!
5Surprised with the not so good reviews, having tried HEAPS of lip liners I find this one very good (reminds me of Marc Jacobs gel lip liners which I love). Consistency is creamy and very comfortable on the lips (great for folks who wear lip liners as lipsticks). Sure it won’t be super long lasting but at least it doesn’t make lips feel like they’ve been in the Sahara. I also like the packaging, doesn’t feel cheap, and always good not to have to sharpen the liner!

Great formula, convoluted packaging
4Love the creamy formula of this lip crayon/liner, and the colour (lightest shade She's Humble) on fair-light skintones, but the packaging is too much for a lip liner product. Might be worth a rethink - names are confusing too... take a leaf from Charlotte Tilbury in renaming products eg the Eyes To Mesmerise eye colour pots...

Had higher expectations
2I literally never write reviews, but this lip pencil was so bad I had to go on here and write one. The packaging was just the cheapest thing ever like I've actually never seen a cheaper-looking product in my life. The pencil is so hard and too dry to contour, you actually have to 'drag' it across the lips. The pigment was strong, but the texture was just separated almost like it was breaking/falling apart.

Good Formula but Terrible Packaging.
2The formula and colour of the lipstick is nice, I love grey tone nudes and really liked the colour on me. But the terrible packaging knocks it from 3.5 stars to 2. Considering this was £22 (I did have a discount code though) I was expecting more luxurious packaging, but this was very plastic and the gold colour had already worn away in some areas. It is functional but not worth the money in my opinion. I won’t purchase another one, which is a shame considering the actual product is nice.

Best formula I've seen
5I'm so happy with this lipliner and I can only recommend!! It's super soft, but not to the point that it gets smudgy or getting in the creases of your lips. It just stays there, long-lasting, soft and beautiful. I'm super happy with the colour, I love the packaging, and I like that the button is on the top- easy to use and you don't accidentally hit it while applying. I'm obsessed.

Let Down
1I was so excited to receive these lipliners. I love Patrick Ta and think he's a sweet person and super talented makeup artist so I wanted to support him. Unfortunately, the shades I purchased, She's Humble and She's Proud, added no pigment to my lips at all. Not only that, they did not apply smoothly and I felt like i was dragging an eraser across my lips when applying them despite using different lip balms and lip primers underneath. For reference, the lipliner shades that are my favorites and that suit me are CT PillowTalk and Iconic Nude and Pat McGrath Done Undone and Contour.

Disappointed
1The Colour was much lighter than expected and hardly shows up.

Patrick Ta lip liner
5This is my first purchase from Patrick Ta’s range and it is amazing. I bought a lip gloss too and it’s a great combo and is long lasting! Smooth, great colour and beautiful.
