3It definitely makes glitter shades adhere better & pop. And if layering on top of a matte shade or another shimmer it doesn’t remove the shadow underneath. However it’s not very hygienic and is super expensive.

Works a treat
4This product works really well, I’m loving how much more vibrant my eyeshadows are. I do agree with other reviews about the flimsy packaging. Having said that, I’m really glad I bought it. Love <3

Insane intensity
5I had been quite happy with my cheap eye primer, and assumed that this would simply be a more expensive version, but that's far from the case. Used underneath the shimmer, multi-chrome or glitter/wet look shades in the PMG palettes this is INCREDIBLE. It completely elevates the power and intensity of the shadow to red carpet levels - you definitely want to have this handy when getting ready for a night out! Definitely going to be a repeat purchase for me!

Impressive
5I was reluctant to buy this as I assumed it was just an overpriced eye primer, but after reading reviews and seeing it used in videos with Pat Mcgrath I can appreciate that it's sooo much more! I still use eye primer, but will apply this OVER my eyeshadow to get the effect I want. This works magic on the various shimmer, foils, and glitter shades of the PMG eye palettes, giving an incredible intensity that really has to be seen to be believed. It intensifies the shades as well as providing hold, meaning that you can create a stunning glitter look which stays sparkling all night, or achieve a wet look which won't transfer where you don't want it. I'm glad I got this on offer, but I'll happily buy again full price!

Decent
4I'm unsure whether mine was slightly faulty, or if this is normal; but I found it fiddly to get the clicks to reveal the product for the first time. However, now it seems to be working just fine! It feels very light when applying, and gives a wonderful payoff on eyeshadows.

Artistry wand
5This product is absolutely fantastic! I use the rare beauty primer prior to eyeshadow and then I apply the artistry wand with my finger only were I will be placing any shimmery shade on the lid as for me this product smoothly and effortlessly greatly amplifies the colour and intensity and brightness of any shimmery, metallic or glittery eyeshadow. Since discovering this product I always always used it prior to applying any shimmery eyeshadows on the lids. Absolutely amazing product so please, never discontinue !!!!!!

It works but...
3The product itself is good and does the job right. It feels light and not heavy like some other eye primers but the packaging is very cheap. I do not understand why some Pat McGrath products have very expensive and luxurious packaging and then others just feel very cheap. Not worth the price if you ask me..

Packaging is a big no
3The product itself is gorgeous and does work really well with all types of shadows BUT the packaging is awful. It broke when I opened it and I requested a replacement which got lost so am just managing with the broken one. When you pull the lid off the tubing separates as well so you have to put it back together again EVERY TIME. Just seems stupid that a good product is ruined by terrible cheap packaging. So many good products have this issue nowadays (looking at you Fenty 🙄).
