Eyeshadow primer
3Primer works ok it definitely makes colours pop more but it can be tricky to get an even application

Good eyeshadow base.
4Sometimes NYX gets products right and this is one of them. I prefer to give it a couple of minutes and lightly powder it when it's set and then add whatever eyeshadow I'm using. It doesn't apply patchy, and it makes the eyeshadow colours look much more vivid than using a concealer for a base. The only surprise was that it arrived in a black tube with a doe-foot applicator and not in a little tub like in the photo. It's the same amount of product so it doesn't bother me. I only mention it because I was surprised. It's a great base for the money!! 👏

Simply the best
5This primer really lasts for hours and at this price point, it really is the best. Really changed the way I use eyeshadows, I'm now more confident of using pressed pigments, knowing they'll show up properly and won't fade away.

Best eye primer/base
5100% is the reason my eye shadow doesn't crease. Lasts for hours and hours.

4It makes my eye makeup last like nothing else has. The only downside I see is that it's so sticky that sometimes it's hard to blend the shadows in the sense that it's not as smooth as it would be if nothing was applied. I personally don't mind as much but just wanted to put it out there. Great primer though.

Not for me...
1Disappointed with this one. Looking for a reasonably priced shadow base (have been using Too Faced) - this creased after a couple of hours wear, used with Anastasia Modern Renaissance shadows. Next day, applied the same shadow with no base/primer at all - better results than with the NYX base. Worse than nothing I'm afraid. The search continues...or I go back to Too Faced.
