This did a great job, and I love NIOD/The Ordinary products; HOWEVER - that said, where this falls short for me (and might for you as well) is (1)over time, I found the product inevitably gets on the bottle itself, giving it an oily feel and the label will eventually wear away - you almost have to keep the bottle washed, and (2) while the scent for me wasn't totally off-putting, I don't like scent, even "natural x" in my skincare (at all), and if you do expect it to smell nice, this won't. It's not that it's super strong or stinky but rather vaguely unpleasant in an "industrial" kind of way. Does it work? Yes, absolutely ticks the "gets the stuff off your face" box...however, if the possibility of scent or label slipping off
might bother you, then this may not be your holy grail cleanser. I say this as a super NIOD-Ordinary-Hylamide loyalist: I wouldn't necessarily repurchase this one over my preferred Clinique balm cleanser because the balm format travels well and has literally no fragrance. Hope this helps someone.
PS to Cult Beauty - but by all means, PLEASE start stocking their Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist, though! It's a great mist/toner, very soothing. I even use it on my hair sometimes.
