I got this hand wash because the description of the scent spoke to my soul. My first impression upon smelling it was that it reminds me of a long haired man emerging from the ocean. During winter, the skin on my hands occasionally becomes really dry and itchy, and I started using this hand wash during a flare-up. It did not agitate my skin, and allowed it to heal nicely. One thing to note - when choosing a scent, you have to make sure you are committed - it stays with you for some time after washing your hands.
