Helps your makeup last
5Very good for helping you makeup last. It’s great at controlling oil

Good primer
4This primer does help mattify and when applied in oily zones it will keep shine away for a few hours -doesn’t last all day but nothing does for me! Would avoid applying it on any drier areas of the skin as it can cause makeup to look patchy Overall a good primer for very oily skinÂ

Minimises pores!
5This primer is my favourite because it blurs my pores and gives my makeup look a soft matte finish, the only down side is whenever I dermaplane my face and apply this it does sting a little I suppose it’s because of the niacinamide that’s inside of this product.

Just what I wanted!
5I have normal skin, however, would find that as the day went on I would look shiny, and I don't like adding more powder as I feel that it looks cakey. I was very happy with my previous primer, which I found did actually blur more than this, but I don't really have a problem with pores. This stuff is my perfect solution, I'm so glad I went for the 40ml size! You really don't need much, and it sinks in quickly, leaving a silky canvas that makes the rest of my base look absolutely gorgeous and so natural! For reference, I wear this under Pat Mcgrath Sublime Skin foundation, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Infinity Powder, and various other PMG or Hourglass blushes/bronzer/highlighters/strobes, finishing with Hourglass Veil setting spray, and it's amazing how this primer just makes everything sit so perfectly, looking freshly applied hours after I put it on. My absolute favourite primer!

Ok... but on the fence still
3I like the performance of this primer, and it has a nice refreshing scent and feel. However I do feel like it doesn't do a huge amount for my pores and possibly also too drying, but that could be down to the very cold weather lately as I spend a lot of time outside. Also seems like you need to use a lot to get good coverage or work super quick to spread it over your face. Would like to try the hydro version for comparison.

Does what it says on the tin!
5This works well on my combo, nearly 40 year old skin! Leave the full minute before you apply any makeup and you’re grand!Â

Matte not flat
4Pores and shine? I don't know her! This primer really does smooth out my texture, makes my pores look almost invisible, and removes excess shine without leaving me looking flat. It still leaves my skin looking radiant. I have never experienced a primer that has a cooling effect on the skin, it's nice! My only issue with the product is that it's not hydrating enough. I know that's not what it is designed for, however, as someone with combination skin, I want all the effects mentioned above but I also need hydration. It leaves me feeling dryer in some areas.

Amazing primer from Milk
5I was excited when this was finally launched in the UK. I bought the travel size, after one use I immediately bought the 40ml version. It has a sort of cooling sensation on the face. I have mature oily skin with enlarged pores and this primer really helps without drying my skin out. I'm personally not a fan of the hydro grip primer, but don't let that put you off. This primer is everything!!!
