Disappointed

2

I have oily, acne-prone skin and fairly large pores so reading the claims of this foundation, I was super excited to try it out. I knew buying online would be a risk, but I went for it anyway. Unfortunately, using it over a few weeks, I found that it was not "featherweight" at all and I felt like I was wearing foundation. It settled into the fine lines around my mouth after a few hours and actually made them more obvious than they usually are. The foundation transferred a lot, and by the end of the day I would always have areas of my face where the foundation had just disappeared (like my chin). Probably the only positive is that you don't have to use a lot to get a high amount of coverage.

Awful!

OK this is just bad! I ordered light medium which is ORANGE, but even if the shade was right it is a weird texture, it moves, it transfers, it just doesn't work on dry skin AT ALL. Maybe if I had oilier skin it might work better. I have nothing positive to say it is awful truly. Horrible stuff and expensive! It Cosmetics CC cream is £31 and one of the best bases money can buy. Do not waste your money on this horror of a product. The only bad milk product I have experienced so far.

Broke me out!

5

I’m so disappointed in this foundation. I bought it because I wanted something silicone free and light but also full coverage. A lot of oily and acne prone people on the internet said it didn’t break them out so I decided to pay £34 for it. I’ve worn this foundation 3 times since I bought it and every single time I wear it I find new painful pimples on my skin. I thought this might be a coincidence so I once decided to wear my old foundation one day and saw no skin issues the next day. I then decided to go makeup free for a couple days and then I wore the milk foundation out two days ago. Low and behold, my skin was a mess the day after. I paid £34 for something that I can’t even use. It claims to be so good for people’s skin but even when it’s on the face it literally feels like my pores are suffocating. It’s greasy and oily and I needed so much product to cover up my skin properly. On top of that, it transfers like crazy. Even when I set it with a ton of setting powder, I still look a bit shiny and the foundation comes off at the touch of a finger. I’m disappointed and really disheartened because this product has broken me out and that’s money I won’t be getting back. Don’t believe the hype.

Disappointed

I am really disheartened and disappointed by this foundation and I regret buying it which is a shame became I was so looking forward to it. The shade match was good and it blended decently well although a bit streaky even with my real techniques brush. On top of that it looks greasy unless I set it with tons of setting powder. It rubs off even at the touch of a finger and that’s not helpful considering I bought it for the purpose of covering my skin to make it flawless. It transfers really badly and requires so much product just to get a good coverage.

Don’t believe they “Hype”

1

Possibly, one of the worst foundations, I have ever bought. I watched hundreds of make up tutorials, using this brand, and was so excited, when I read it was coming to the UK. Emailed my alert to when it was landing, and didn’t think twice to its £30 odd price tag. However, for the price, it does no say what it “does on the Tin” It dried my skin out, within hours. It was not flawless, dewy or long lasting.it comes off in seconds and does not set well, unless you plunge your Beauty blender over it, time and time again. I just think, for the price, it’s false advertising, and people are misled because of the name

Nice matte foundation :)

Great foundation - does exactly what it says. super matte without looking cakey, and doesn’t slip off my super oily nose. Colour match is a bit darker than my actual skin but other than that it’s perfect. Another slight issue is the oil(?) in the foundation separates so you have to make sure to really shake it and mix it about.

Make sure you shake it

Really amazing coverage, great colour match for my paper than pale skin, doesn't make my skin break out and looks really great. Just need to make sure you shake it before use.

Fabulous foundation!

You only need a tiny bit of this to blend beautifully and provide excellent coverage. Great shade too; I wouldn't use anything else now. Big thanks to Cult Beauty for stocking Milk products!

Citrus-y

A nice full coverage foundation with a surprising citrus scent. There's a great selection of shades; I found one that suits and I'm an awkward pasty yoke. You really need a primer before applying as it does get slightly patchy over the day without one.

Although you don’t need much it still feels cakey on your skin and settles into fine lines around mouth and eyes. Has little staying power and half of it has come off through out the day.
