Gentle and effective
5I started with the retinal 6 as my skin is accustomed to retinol & it was really good. I felt confident moving up a step because the formulations are extremely well made & gentle. My skin is glowing & some fine lines have definitely improved. No downsides to this product.

It does not irritate...
5It does not irritate anything despite the high concentration of retinol, it hydrates and is super pleasant, recommended for sensitive skin, I always repeat. No irrita nada a pesar de la alta concentración de retinol, hidrata y es super agradable, recomendado para pieles sensibles, repito siempre

Amazing product
5Really good retinal, I use it every second night and skin instantly looks better and lines are less visible. I really, really love it.

It’s Amazing
5Resurfaces, helps with breakouts and pigmentation. Not too irritating but I’ve built up with the other Retinals in the range.

Best Retinal
5I've only been using the Crystal 10 for a couple of weeks, but can already feel and see the difference. Skin feels smoother (not that it was bad before!) and forehead lines are reducing. The first night I was disappointed with the pump, as it didn't seem to be working. However, I read a review on the Medik8 website suggesting to apply a bit of pressure to the tube then pump. It worked! The advice is to apply a moisturiser once the retinol has absorbed - something I hadn't done with my previous Retriderm max 1%, but it works and skin looks great in the morning. Can also recommend the Medik8 Super C30, but as with everything work your way up to the higher strength.

Bad First Impression
2I’ve had my eye on the product for a long time. Previously been using Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol and Osmosis MD Retinal Serum and was finally ready to try this and bite the bullet on the duties charges (UK to Canada) - but so far I’m not impressed. The product pump is so faulty and a struggle to even get anything out ( might have to open it up). It’s also heavily fragranced which I was not expecting and goes on almost dry? Doesn’t feel hydrating at all. Really hope this gets better over time given the price I paid as I obviously can’t return it.

Great Retinol
5Great retinol, does what it is supposed to with no irritation or peeling whatsoever. I have really quite reactive skin and have to be careful about what I use. Worked my way up from 3 to 10 and wouldn't use anything else now

Perfect OTC retinoid
5This product is amazing, after stopping use of tret I looked for a retinol type product for maintenance, and after researching I went after retinaldehyde, then found this product, I’ve been using it every night for a month now, and while I don’t think I’ll get improved results over the prescription tretinoin, unlike my last time with tret 2 years ago, my skin isn’t going back to its previous state, which I do appreciate. But I do notice more glow and less dryness, the product is so fast absorbing that I do sometimes feel like I need to use more than I should, since I do use only a pea-sized amount, sometimes I need two full pumps. It’s expensive, really expensive, if you don’t need to check your bank account before buying it go for it if you do, please don’t, go for Avene retinal, the same percentage, not as elegant as this but it will get the job done.
