watery
1I don't know if I got a faulty one but I bought mine in the colour bleached and was way too watery. Plus it's not transfer proof and leaves a sticky feeling on your lips which I personally don't like. I'll just stick to my Jouer lipsticks.

Matte Velvetines
4Lovely formula, and not too drying, but I bought the shade "Riot", and it's nothing like the swatch. It's a dark red colour, very nice, but not what I was expecting or wanted.

Disappointed
2I bought one of these liquid lipsticks in the shade pumpkin. There is great pigment in these however there are two things that ruin this product for me. When I go to apply the lipstick it seems as if it's got a watery consistency and therefore is not easy to apply. The lipstick also has a horrible smell, like play dough, which you can smell throughout the day.

5Definitely my favourite formula out of all the liquid lipsticks I've tried. And I've tried a lot. Shade teddy bear is absolutely gorgeous. The application is smooth and it doesn't flake. I also find it doesn't dry my lips out too much. Will definitely be trying more shades. :) :) :)

5I bought Riot as a try out shade as my research into Lime Crime showed that it is one of the most wearable and popular shades from the brand. Was pleasantly surprised at how easily it went on and the longevity: it stayed put for hours despite drinking and eating oily foods. No streakiness or cracking was seen, no need to reapply, but even if you do, it layers like a dream. It's by no means hydrating, but definitely one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I've worn. Having been through many different high end and other boutique brands, I can say with confidence that this is definitely the best liquid lipstick I've tried. Cannot recommend this enough. I've already ordered three more!!!

I've found the perfect liquid lipstick!!!
5I've just received 'Pumpkin', and I'm absolutely amazed. The colour is spot on, a nice subtle reddy brown. Natural looking, but also giving enough colour, to be noticed. Great consistency, IT STAYS PUT ALL DAY AND WAY INTO THE EVENING. After giving it a hammering with lunch and drinks etc. FOR SURE I'LL BE BUYING LOADS MORE ; )

4I haven't really experimented much with liquid lipsticks, so I can't really tell what the perfect formula would be like. However, out of all the ones I've tried (Sleek, Beauty Bakerie, Jouer, Maybelline, Rimmel) Lime Crime - although not perfect - worked the best for me. I bought the shade Riot and it stayed on all day. It even survived my noodle-slurping at lunch! Reapplying throughout the day isn't really necessary, but when you do, it doesn't get all clumpy. It's quite drying, but not as bad compared to the other brands I have used so far. I'd definitely go purchase more shades. :)

4I recently bought the shades Riot and Wicked, and I am very impressed! The packaging is mega cute and the colours are vibrant and last relatively long. However, as suspected with liquid lipstick, it can be very drying - be sure to use a lip scrub and chapstick before application!
