Calmness is a tub
5I love this cream. I always know it will soothe my skin. It's a lovely rich cream but does not upset my combination skin or lead to any breakouts. It was great for winter or if using any actives. This is one product I won't be without.

Didn't live up to my expectations!
3Had high hopes for this cream, picked it for its highly comforting, nourishing characteristics. However I really haven't felt them, and sadly haven't found it any better an experience than much (much!) cheaper/more 'basics' creams. I was longing for a super soothing hug of a product, but just haven't got that so far. It does also seem to break me out, meaning I'll have to use it sparingly in the areas that are not likely to react. Not what I was going for sadly. Will use up, but not repurchase.

Lovely cream for colder months
4Very hydrating and comfortable to apply. Would recommend it to anyone suffering from dryness especially over winter. Just a shame it’s so expensive!

Perfect night cream
4I use this cream pm and i love it. I have sensitive and normal to dry skin and i use it every other night to calm down my skin after treatments. One point less for the price.

5This is now my holy grail moisturiser and I can’t be without a back up in my stash. 10/10, great for my combination skin and keeping dryness at bay.

Terrible for Sensitive Skin
1I love the smell of this cream but I have sensitive skin and had an allergic reaction to it. It made my skin tight, dry, red, and itchy- pretty much the opposite of what I want in a moisturizer!

Skin barrier
5Love this cream, its super rich and great for repair & protect my skin barrier (don't need to apply a lot) I can used all my treatment like retinol, BHA, Vitamin C... without irritatating my skin. I highly recommend this product. Sometime I applied the cream after my serum and before the moisturizer and sometimes when I used retinol I applied the cream after the moisturizer.

Good repairing moisturiser
5I bought this moisturiser after seeing the 5 star reviews and seeing that the ingredients list included lots of ceramides and generally hydrating ingredients. I was expecting to see more of a difference to my skin than I am seeing for £70 as I am still waking up with slightly dry skin. It is a very nourishing and hydrating cream... perfect for night time use as it is very heavy. However, my la roche posay cream does practically the same thing for £20

Don't Invest In This If You Are Breakout Prone
3This cream has started my love affair with Kate Somerville and it is a lovely cream. This has gotten rid of redness on my face and helped my moisture barrier for sure, but has definitely been breaking me out. I'm still using it up due to the price, I just use a small amount of it, and try to balance it out with a moisturiser that is extremely light in the morning. I am switching to the serum. If you experience acne at all, this will break you out. I don't think this is designed to used everyday unless you don't experience any acne, otherwise I think this creams intended purpose is for every once in a while when your skin has become very irritated or in the depths of winter when it's extremely dry.
