Cabernet, a gorgeous 1950's style vintage red
5I am obsessed with this colour. I have been wanting a vintage 50's pin up girl red for ages that stays on and will not budge and this fits the brief. I pop the Jouer essential lip enhancer on first for a few minutes and then blot and apply the liquid lip. The colour payoff is intense so I only apply a thin amount. It takes take a few minutes to "set" but it feels comfortable once on and I can get through an evening of wearing it (eating and drinking) with no touch ups. I get so many great comments when I wear this and people are always asking where to buy it.

Colour - stunning, formula - not so much
3Bought the shade Cabernet, and hands down it is the most stunning red I have in my collection. I wear it quite often just because the shade is so gorgeous. However, I don't enjoy wearing it because the formula is not great. It is quite drying, a little bit streaky, and bleeds quite badly. It's manageable to wear, you have to exfoliate properly, put powder around the outline of your lips to minimize smearing.

This is not for me - better liquid lips out there
3I think I get why some people love these - they just really don't work for me. This is really really long lasting, almost tints the lip - I had to scrub quite vigorously with cleansers to get it all off! So if you are looking for staying put liquid lips the this is a great and very affordable option. Sadly though I think my skin and lips are too dry and dehydrated to cope with the formulation, which because it is matt and so longwear, is not at all moisturising. For me as the product would wear off it would become patchy and drying. I've tried other liquid lip formulations from other brands which are slightly less matt and long lasting but the payoff is that they give enough moisture for dry/dehydrated skin.

Wonderful formula, staying power slightly less
4My lips tend to go dry and crack easily with matte liquid lipsticks. The Jouer liquid lipsticks are by far the best formula I have tried so far, and I find them to be velvety and not drying at all. I bought Brique and Penny from the fall collection, and the colours look absolutely stunning on me! Compared to the regular collection, I find their staying power to be slightly less, and needinf to touch up a bit after eating.

Bronze rose and Penny
4I love the formula on this product as it doesn't budge, doesn't bleed onto the skin around my lips and doesn't remain sticky. Only reason for dropping a star is that bronze rose looked different to the image here and penny is too orange to wear alone but goes great on top of darker pinks and reds. Wonderful product though, will definitely be buying more.

Favourite Liquid lip
5I love, love, love this! Slower to dry and therefore easier to smudge in those couple if minutes but after it dries it doesn't budge at all. It doesn't dry out my lips that much, especially compared to every other liquid lipstick I've tried. I started with Snapdragon and it's a beautiful metallic. Now I just have to figure out how not to blow all my money on the rest of the colours.

Don't like it at all :(
2When it arrived I was super excited. If I didn't had tried it I still could return but else I wouldn't know. It does not give me the coverage I was expecting, at all. I don't like the smell of the product, it's just a very big NO NO for me. It stays on the lips and does feel very thick.. So I wouldn't recommend it. I had Buff and Terra and a lip topper.. going to give these away to a friend.

Lovely colour
4I bought Tawny Rose and I'm in love with the colour, the smell is so nice and it definitely stays on! But for me it's a little drying, after a while my lips look cracked, even when I hydrate very well. Either way I would buy again from the brand, maybe the formula on the others are a little less drying.
