When I received the palette I wasn't too convinced about my choice - it has that shimmery look that I do not necessarily enjoy in my blushes (I have combo skin and get very shiny soon so I prefer matte or semi-matte formulas). Anyway, there is something about this blush colour that actually gets me to reach for it over and over again - it makes my winter pale complexion look very fresh and alive. A big surprise. A big success.

You need only tap your brush in the pan and it gives fully saturated colour. Do go steady with it to avoid blush overload

I purchased a Jouer blush years ago and it remains the best blush I have ever tried. I believe the one I purchased has been discontinued/repackaged and I bought this one hoping it would be my new go-to everyday blush. And even though the colours are beautiful, they are way too shimmery! Like -seeing individual glitters on your face- shimmery. Not suitable for everyday use, at least not for me.
