Application matters
5So I bought this after seeing someone on Instagram with the most gorgeous perfect dewy base. But I found it too heavy for me and was drying my skin out over the day so I began to mix it with Beccas first light. Then I contact the team at Cult Beauty for advice for a different lighter foundation. She suggested I look at the primer and skincare first. So I took the advice and applied oil before Becca first light and then the CC cream.... better but still heavy. Then I saw someone applying foundation with a big buffer brush! Tried it and I know have my perfect base and I love this product.

CC+ illumination
5Good coverage, easy to apply. Has a subtle sparkle once applied to the face. I have pale brown skin and have found the colour match of Medium Tan according to IT Cosmetics colour chart is too dark. For this CC+ illumination I have chosen Light. And the colour match is perfect. I found from a previous reviewer that going lighter according to the chart is better. I am more than happy with product and the shade.

Illuminating
4It's good.. Illuminating but after a while, it has a bit of the glittery shine..however, it has got the best mineral SPF which is amazing.. Also a moisturiser. Best 3 in 1 cream.

Not a CC cream
3This is a full coverage foundation. I should have known how thick this would feel when I read full coverage but clearly gave too much credit to them calling it a cc cream. If you want a foundation and are comfortable with full coverage I am sure you will like this. For me, it was too heavy and too drying. I also expected illumination to mean a dewy glow, this more gave the effect of mixing a silver-based highlighter through a foundation. I may use this in winter if I have a breakout that's really bothering me but I wouldn't repurchase or recommend. I do caveat that this is down to my expectations of what it would be and what I like.

Illuminating cc cream
5My daughter told me about this cream as I have a very fair skin and need 50 factor. I wear it every day over my moisturiser and it gives me good coverage without needing foundation..love it

Radiant Skin
5There are a number of things I love about this product, from the packaging to the finish on my skin. I have always been someone to use Matte products however after research and which CC cream would suit my skin type (dry skin) I went with the Illumination and this will continue to be in my makeup kit. One pump applies to my entire face with a buffing brush it is quick and easy to use. I also bought the Concealer, I purchased the shade medium tan and it is very similar to my Estee Lauder Double Wear Shell Beige colour.

Light and glowing
4Love this product, it feels so light and leaves the skin glowing without looking greasy. Only thing I would say is go a shade down because it’s a lot more orange than I was expecting and only really matches when I’m fake tanned.
