Lovely product but not keen on the packaging

4

This is a lovely refreshing and soothing toner with great ingredients and a beautiful scent. It helps lock in extra moisture and calms any redness, eczema etc. I have however had to knock off one star as I'm not a fan of the packaging - my bottle seems to leak a little where the base of the lid meets the bottle and it's difficult to pour a small amount of toner out without it running down the sides. I would still re-purchase as I love the product but do think the packaging could be improved.

So good

After the strawberry cleanser, I decided to give this a go and it works so well. My skin has never been more balanced and hydrated.

Nice added extra

Received in the CH Beauty Box, I didn't notice if this did anything beneficial as I have good skincare regime already and decent skin, but I can say it was a nice added extra to refresh me as part of my morning cleanse. I poured the last mls into a small Muji spray bottle to spritz as the smell is divine! All in all, not a necessary product for me but I will repurchase as I love the fragrance and freshness.

Surprisingly lush

Totally relate to the reviews calling it a silent wonder! I normally use stronger acid toners such as Pixi or the Nip+Fab pads, and I feel like this packs a similar punch but feels more soothing. I got this in the CH box and did not expect to be this impressed, but it has helped calm my skin down so much and I will definitely repurchase!

Lush, calming and soothing

I realised I was overdoing it with the acid toner twice a day and it was stripping my face more than helping it so I was on the look out for a hydrating toner that was more than just a toner. Caved into this upon recommendation from Caroline Hirons and I totally get the hype. It's a lot more watery that I expected but it's incredibly gentle, soothing, calming and hydrating and it has helped with my dehydrated skin.

Can't quite put my finger on it

I first got this in a Caroline Hirons Beauty Box. I used up about 1/3 of the bottle, swiping it on my face every morning and night. It's hard to pin point exactly what this product did. All I know is that my face felt hydrated, soothed and soft when I was using it. I have noticed since I stopped using this, my eczema and dry patches have started to return. My bottle spilt in my toilet bag on a recent flight and I am gutted. Will be repurchasing as soon as it is back in stock.

"silent wonder"- I didn't realize how good it was until I ran out

I believe I first encountered this product via a Beautylish lucky bag a couple years back. At the time I didn't have any toners because of my dry and sensitive skin (caused partially by prescription retinoids and by a dry climate). While using it I enjoyed the soothing effect it had on my skin, but felt like I might be able to find something as good/even better for cheaper. This was a belief that was almost immediately dispelled. There are very few "toners" on the market that are soothing and/or alcohol free. I noticed my skin was more irritated and lacked a "glow" it had been experiencing prior. My advice to people who feel underwhelmed at first would be to use the full bottle before reserving judgement. I am back on this product and my skin is thanking me. I used to use it in the traditional toner way (saturate cotton pad and swipe over face), but lately I've been preferring the korean "essence" treatment - pour a small amount onto hands and pat into face. I don't think I will be looking for a different toner anytime soon. A quick final note: I am noticing reviews on here that say their skin was irritated by this product. This is the opposite of how my skin has responded, but I think if you are extremely sensitive to plant extracts you ought to approach this with caution.

Awesome

Had concerns that my skin, which is very sensitive to fragrance would react to this. Luckily, it did not and has simply helped my skin feel hydrated and refreshed. I use this in the morning to get rid of any remaining makeup or skin care before applying moisturizer and it's great. My only gripe is the price and the fact it is nearly finished. I would repurchase.

I don't know why everyone loves this

All the reviews I read about this sing it's praises. So, why not, I thought. Well it's terrible, it leaves my face red and itchy. Probably the extracts in it. I thought it would be suitable for sensitive skin. What a waste of money!
