Slightly disappointing
2The matte shades in this palette are beautiful, but I'm assuming everyone wants this because of the glitters and those were disappointing. They're very difficult to apply and blend. In general, glitters aren't easy to work with, but this was very messy. The shimmers were just okay.

3Loved the colours on the photos and like the nude medium palette so thought I'd try this one, but unfortunately the pigment payoff for the glitter shades aren't great, even when using setting spray. The shimmer shades i.e. the middle and bottom right are great, shame the others aren't the same formula. Great colours but not as good to work with as the other palettes.

Not lived up to expectations
2Super excited to get my hands on this when it came out. Looks really pretty and I’m into my golds however was not impressed. The quality for the price is shocking. Some of the shades crumbled off and felt really “glittery” could have done better gold shades. I would not recommend.

Huda Beauty Gold Essentials pallet
5First time I ever saw the Gold Obsessions Palette my mouth dropped. I don't have any of her other palettes. But I knew I had to get this one. It looks and feels luxe and the shadows are so soft and blendable. She put a rich brown in the pallet so you can create a smokey eye. And at the other end of the spectrum, she has a topper shade that looks like diamonds. In my top 3 favourite palettes.
