Airbrushed
5This is the only hourglass foundation I’ve tried so far and I’m impressed. This isn’t my usual medium skin like finish foundation. But it’s one I’ve realised I can rely on to give my skin a natural flawless look. It blurs my enlarged pores and makes my skin look its best. It’s not ‘matte’ or drying but it’s definitely not on the dewy side. It also lasts really well on me combo skin!

Great coverage and finish
5This one delivers on everything it claims: nice medium to high coverage, easy to build or sheer out, it self-sets but gives you enough time to apply, and has a beautiful satin-matte look. It lasted almost 10 hours on my combination skin, which is a lot... The only thing people may be disappointed is the fact that, despite of the "glow" in the name, it's not a dewy foundation. It has a sort of blurred/airbrushed bur very natural silky finish. No need to go in with a heavy had. My favourite way to apply is distributing with a dense brush and then smooth out with a sponge.

Instant love
5Wow, this is a big yes for me. I haven't really felt in love with any of the foundation releses in a while, but this formula made it to the top for me. Lasts all day, with the primer is even more gorgeus. Love it!

Definitely a miss…
2Luckily I just got a sample of this before buying it. I love the stick foundation that Hourglass do and the description of this really made me think I’d like it! Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Firstly, the foundation oxidises, something I can handle if I love the wear and finish of the foundation but I didn’t love either. The foundation has a nice coverage, but goes on super patchy, I found myself looking in the mirror at patches and splodges all over my face throughout the day, something I never usually struggle with. I also found it emphasised my texture quite badly. My skin has been worse recently with bumps under the skin, but my usual Nars foundations cover this nicely, however I found this foundation emphasised it even more. Glad I didn’t buy the full size. Would definitely pass on this unfortunately.Â

Not for me
2I honestly really wanted to love this foundation and all of the reviews I've read said great things but it just doesn't work for me. It goes on really patchy, ie around my nose and it really settles badly into my pores (which doesn't normally happen with other foundations) and it doesn't give me the glowy results other people have mentioned. The colour match was ok, a bit paler than I thought it would be. Very sad as it is an expensive foundation and I can't return it!

5This is a lovely foundation, you don't need much a little goes a long way, i have combo skin and it works great on my skin.
