My GoTo powder
5I have bought this powder for years now . It’s the best and finest powder I found that works for my skin; I use Dim in winter and summer depending on how much I use and it sort of adapt to the foundation under . I can’t do without it …

Pricey but magical
4Light as a feather, layers perfectly. Best to use a large brush that can also be used for contouring. The colours are less about skin tone and more about mood. I have Eternal Light too which would probably better for people with darker skin tones than Dim Light.Â

Just a touch
4Perfect for subtle layering and a bit of contouring if you don’t want to wear lots of make. Used alot on holiday and after my return. It kept my tan alive for a good few weeks. It’s like a cross between a bronzer and a finishing powder.Â

Mood Light
5Mood Light is probably one of the more pigmented shades and its absolutely beautiful. I use this one as a blush as opposed to face powder. Its a subtle mauve tone and looks incredible on cheek bones, it really melds into skin, no harsh lines and looks truly like a lit from within blush. Really stunning.

5I tried this powder in a smaller travel version and loved it so much I got the full size. It evens out my very pale, cool toned skin each morning and I don't see any unwelcome shine all day, but my skin looks radiant without being shiny. If applied in a few layers it doubles up as a good replacement for eyeshadow on days I want to look more low-key.

5Been using the shade Dim Light, wonderful. Gives such a flawless complexion, blurs any imperfections, skin is glowy but not in a greasy way, a healthy, rich glow it is. I am relatively pale (esp at winter), but this works well for both seasons (buildable). Anyway, recommendations to anyone who likes natural, glowly flawless finish!

A change?
3I’ve been buying ambient lighting powders for a few years now and have a few various ones, some that are hardly used. I bought ‘ethereal light’ this time as I am very fair neutral and although the container is exactly the same as previous powders, it feels much lighter in weight. I examined it a bit closer in comparison to my other powders hardly used and there is definitely less in the container. It also doesn’t seem as finely pressed, so more comes away on the brush. Hourglass powders seem to last forever, but I’m not sure about this one as already after two uses I can see an amount has gone quickly.Â
