Beautiful travel to go palette
5If you wish to travel and want a set to go, this is for you. Hourglass never fails and value for money to get it during the sales and you get 6 different type of products / shades for whole face look.

5Great palette for fair skin. Makes the face radiant and precious. Perfect blush, great powder. The highlighter does not accentuate pores.

Perfect face palette!
4I'm a relatively new convert to Hourglass, and I've without fail loved every single one of the products I've tried, so I was very excited to find this limited edition on offer! It literally has everything you need held in the prettiest, stylish, yet sturdy and practical case with a full sized mirror inside. I unfortunately spend a lot of time in hospital, and this has instantly been added to my bag of essentials for a long hospital stay! It's got the Incandescent Light Strobe, which I like to use on my nose, centre face, upper lip, chin etc., the metallic Celestial Strobe Light, which I'd not seen before but is a beautiful luminescent highlighter, the two finishing powders, including a favourite of mine, the Diffused Light powder (neither, I have to admit, are as good as the Infinity Powder which is one of my all time favourite products!) plus the two blushes I've again not seen before and in a pinch could be used as an eyeshadow. I have a light/medium neutral skin tone which this seems to suit perfectly, but I can imagine it would work well on just about any skin tone other than very dark or very light, simply because of the very pale Ethereal Light finishing powder and the rather intense, deep blushes which even on my skin tone require a light touch. All in all, I am very, very happy with my purchase, and so glad I was able to snap this up when it was available!

Hourglass does it again!
5I LOVE Hourglass’s Ambient Lighting Edit palettes. They’re so handy and versatile! The Butterfly palette is so pretty. I also love that they used recyclable tin for the packaging, as there’s no need for something fancy that can’t be disposed of conscientiously after it’s finished. Obviously this palette is aimed at people on the lighter end of the skin tone spectrum. I have Light Medium Neutral skin, so I count myself lucky so can use more than one of the palettes if I want. To release three for all skin tones was a first and about time. I’m glad Hourglass got the memo. And I think they did a great job (although I really can’t speak on that as far as experience with the Tiger palette). I love the blushes, they give such an alive glow! I love all of their finishing powders, so they are always fantastic. And the highlighters are never too OTT. At first I was a bit disappointed there was no bronzer, like the other two, but then I realised so have a thousand of them, and the Hourglass ones are usual too warm for me, so it was actually a bonus to *not* have one! The quality is second to none, as usual. Love it!

Not perfect
4Nice packaging, but what's inside? The powder is too light for an average type of girl, the blush is too dark. Some of the products won't fit whoever bought this palette. And two similar powders and no bronzer? I like the quality of the powders, but the blushes are horrible to blend and the selection of shades for the palette I think is a failure.

Not for me
3 I normally love hourglass but for me the blushers are not my fav. Don’t really find myself reaching for it. But the highlighter is nice and packaging is amazing.

A beauty but not perfect.
4Firstly, I’ve knocked a mark off because the blush shades look very similar on my cheek. I would have loved a cooler toned in there. Other than that it is wonderful. A cool and a warmer toned ambient light, yes please! Two different intensities of highlighter.. yes please! I feared the more impactful of the two (bottom right) would be too dark on my pale skin but it’s not. I have been using this palette loads, especially when I’m doing a warmer toned eye look. And the butterfly packaging is a joy.Â
