The One
5If you are looking for a palette that has it all - this is it. The shades, the formula, the colour pay-off, the smell, the packaging - even the mirror is of quality. If there was one palette I had to choose from to take with me anywhere - this would be it.

Get your hands on it!
5It's definitely pricey, but I'm still so glad that I bought one in the end. It's a great way to get to know what Hourglass has to offer. You get a little bit of each of their best products. I've been using this palette almost everyday for a year and I still haven't hit pan on anything. So definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Disappointing
2I managed to get this on a sale and I’m glad I did because I wouldn’t have been happy if I’d paid full price. The finishing powders are underwhelming - they don’t actually seem to do anything? Maybe I’m using it wrong. The highlighter is too dark for me so I can’t use it but the formula is nice. The best powders are the blushes and bronzer, they’re really nice to use but again not sure they justify the price. Overall I’m glad I tried the formula but wouldn’t buy again!

Some shades are good
3Pros: It’s handy if you’re traveling to have all the powders you need. The bright pink blush is lovely and has a nice glow. The bronzer is also a nice shade. Cons: The two finishing powders don’t really do anything unique from other powders. The more purple toned blush is nice but doesn’t really show up. The highlighter is barely a highlighter at all and may as well be another matte finishing powder. I don’t mind too much because it was on sale but it really isn’t good enough to warrant the full price.
