Bouncy hair incoming
5I'm a big fan of the Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist so I was eager to try this and was really impressed straight off the bat. I've started experimenting with new hairstyles as I'm growing my hair out which means I can do a lot more with it. The nozzle distributes product really easily and evenly and adds volume without feeling like there's much product in the hair - it really is light as air and I love it paired with the texture mist. My hair feels like it's got an extra boost at the roots and remains frizz-free all day, even better, it smells beautiful.

Better than most
4Its really hard to find a lift that works well on my thickish but fine, mid length hair. I've tried many over the years & this was recommended by India Knight in the Sunday Times, so I've given it a go. I'm on my second bottle (they are quite small), so it's ok, but I'm still on the fence about whether it's worth the money. I do like the idea of the spray nozzle but it is quite stiff to use.

Lightweight root boost
4My long, fine hair is very loyal to its volumising mousse, but after styling my hair with just this spray, I was really pleased that it achieved a similar result! The spray nozzle is brilliant - it distributes the product in a fine and even mist, making it a really lightweight product in a gorgeous scent. It didn’t feel sticky or greasy; my roots were boosted but I did find the ends of my hair went a little frizzy, which may have been down to how I blow dried it! Looking forward to using this product more and seeing if the volume holds…

Useless
1I love SM products generally, but this is a big fat no from me. It gives the tiniest amount of volume to my fine jaw length bob which quickly disappears and just leaves my hair looking like it’s a bit greasy at the roots. I’ve tried various different amounts, from hardly any to about 12 sprays - it makes littles difference volume-wise. Back to the drawing board Sam.

Volume and Lift!
5I have fallen in love with this product - but I must admit, it was after a little trial and error. If I used too much, my hair was crispy and "wet-looking", if I didn't use enough I got little volume. So if you do get this, keep trying until you find the perfect amount for you hair. Now that I have worked out the amount, my hair looks amazing. It adds an amazing amount of volume (that holds), whilst adding a beautiful shine, and lift from the root. It also makes my hair nice and bouncy, no stickiness or crunching in sight! It's extremely lightweight and smells gorgeous, I'm obsessed!

2I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately didn’t add much volume. Just made my hair look like it had product on it

5Great product for adding that extra volume when styling your hair. It also smells amazing which is huge bonus!

5My baby fine thinning hair loves it. It gives my hair the body it lacks without any stiffness. That volume stays overnight, which means I can leave my hair an extra day before it needs to be washed. Also a fan of the fragrance of Sam’s products

Disappointing
1I bought this together with the Cool Girl texture mist after I'd seen an Instagram influencer using it and reading the reviews. I've just had my hair cut into a shorter style and thought I would need something to give it a bit of oomph. I'm sad to say that it left my hair very stiff and matte looking. It was a waste of money, and has been relegated to the back of the cupboard.
