Great concept but not for me

I love the concept and ingredients of this product but it leaves a heavy oily coat. As a result of this I always cleanse after. I also have oily skin and therefore do not like the feel of the heavy oily coat left on my skin.

Best balm cleanser so far

I bought this to replace another cleansing balm I had which I suspected was irritating my skin but after a week of using this my skin is so smooth and soft. I only use this at night to take off spf and makeup and paired with their sweet chef serum shots my skin has never looked better! The packaging is glass and it so heavy it feels like £30 well spent. It is only 100ml however which is less than my previous cleanser but is worth every penny. Will repurchase!

I wanted a switch from the Emma Hardie cleansing balm that I’ve been using for years and this was a great replacement! I’ve only used it once or twice and it’s left my skin feeling cleansed (all makeup off in the first cleanse) without it being stripped. I can have eczema outbreaks and this has helped keep that at bay. The texture is amazing and you definitely don’t need a lot. There is a light smell, nothing to irritate the skin which I love. Packaging is great as well! Love it

My skin is so soft

This is the best balm I’ve ever used. Melts make up away in seconds - especially surprised with how fast my waterproof mascara came off (eyeko yoga - I usually end up with the stuff left on for days because nothing will budge it)! My skin the next day was so soft and glowy. Feels lovely going on, smells really soft, it’s not overpowering at all, you don’t need a crazy amount and it melts really easily. I use it with my foreo and it’s just really brightened my skin up!! I’ll absolutely be buying it again.

This is my first time switching over to a cleansing balm and leaving the makeup wipes behind. I'm shocked at how well this balm took away my makeup. So fast, easy, and smells delicious! I won't look back now :)

Almost perfect.

I've been wanting to try Glow Recipe for a while, and caved and bought this on the day of release as I love cleansing balms. I do like this one - the texture is nice and melts quickly and easily. It really is very good and gentle for eyes as they claim and removes SPF well. For me, it leaves a fairly heavy film and is not the easiest to wash off. As I double cleanse I don't mind too much, but I don't love the feeling even once it's off as someone with combo skin as I worry about leaving some residual oils on my face. The scent isn't of papaya as I'd hoped, but of strawberry from the extract included. Packaging and quality are lovely, but I don't think I'd repurchase. A good balm however just not my perfect match!

Great cleansing balm

Bought this as an alternative to other popular balms as it is vegan, and I would definitely buy it again! Great to remove makeup and good for dry skin. It is super gentle and does not irritate the skin, the smell is also subtle. The Packaging made a £30 product feel like I had spent a lot more than I had on it! A little also goes a long way, so the price is also very reasonable. Definitely a glow recipe fan after this product!

On my repurchase list

I have forever struggled getting my makeup up off. Even using micellar waters, I'm still rubbing and pulling my eyes just to get my waterproof mascara off (even bought a waterproof eye makeup remover that still pulls) but not with this. I tried this for the first time the other day and my jaw dropped. I gently rubbed my eyes with this stuff for about 10 seconds and all my mascara was GONE. No under eye residue nothing. It left my skin feeling so smooth and supple. No stripping or eye stinging. Smells delicate and amazing. Could not recommend anymore.

New HG!

I’ve been looking for a cleansing balm or oil for ages that doesn’t sting my eyes when I’m taking my mascara off and this is brilliant! I’ve tried body shop camomile, drunk elephant slaai (the worst for stinging eyes in my experience) as well as many other cult products and this is my far the best! Smells like starburst and so lovely to use. Also helps that their packaging looks super chic! 10/10 - gave my skin a real healthy glow and took all my makeup off without leaving an oily film!
