Surprisingly Dissatisfied
2I have many ghd products I use on a daily basis and had been eyeing up this for a long time. Sadly when purchasing, I was originally sent a used tong and without the original seal.

Want to love this...
1I was so excited for this curling tong! Unfortunately, the curls only lasted a few seconds until they would drop and eventually look like I hadn’t styled that piece of hair at all. No matter what I would do, the curl would drop out and by the time I had finished curling all my hair, the first curls I had done would be more or less straight again. Maybe my hair just doesn’t suit being curled this way. I have fine hair and I don’t have a lot of it either so I really love having curly hair to give the illusion of voluminous hair.I also thought it took a lot longer to “curl” my hair than it does with my Cloud 9 straighteners. My Cloud 9 straighteners can also have the temperature controlled and I can style my hair at a low temperature which ends up lasting for days! Maybe this is the difference as these curlers are so hot! I looked at lots of reviews before I bought these and they did seem positive, they just didn’t work for me unfortunately.

One of the best curling tongs around!
5Before I got my ghd, I refused to believe in the hype and bought several lower end curling tongs that delivered mediocre results, even with the best hairsprays. This gives a beautiful curl and it heats up so incredibly fast! So glad that I invested in one and I really believe in the quality of the product.
