4Works great before applying a liquid lipstick as it preps the lips and makes them smooth. Absorbs into lips very quickly so don’t have to wait around.Â

4A little pricey. Definitely work a bit though. Do leave lips very soft.

A bit pointless?
3I’m so surprised that this gets such great reviews! I often get dry lips & usually just exfoliate my lips with a damp face cloth followed by lip balm or just some face moisturiser. I thought this looked ideal, gentle & can be used under lipstick. I just find it does very little at all. It’s certainly not hydrating in my opinion & could not replace actually moisturising your lips under lipstick. I find a basic face cloth, lanolips to sink in while you do the rest of your make up & then blot this off & apply a lip primer before lip stick far more effective. To me this is a gimmick & looks cute but not for people who actually suffer with dry lips. I definitely will not repurchase.

Messy but smoothing
4The dropper applicator is a bit messy, but otherwise I really like this product for smoothing and priming my lips before lip balm and colour. I even use it on my nails and it helps keep the cuticles soft and under control.

Great
4Bought this after seeing a video of Jackie Aina recommending it on YouTube. This product is surprising to be honest. Considering it’s a chemical exfoliant, it doesn’t tingle, sting or burn the lips at all. It exfoliates them in a way that softens them almost immediately and has a sweet taste. The softens is long lasting too. Haven’t tried under a liquid lipstick yet but I’m sure the results would be phenomenalÂ

Great for liquid lipsticks
5This works great with liquid lipsticks, or if you just want to refresh your lips and wear no lipstick at all. The bottle goes a really long way as you only need a tiny amount.

Keeps lips comfortable
4I bought this out of curiosity, and am pleasantly surprised! I use this every day, and have noticed an improvement in the appearance of my lips. Definitely much smoother. I'm not a massive fan of the applicator - can get a bit messy. But the product on the whole is great!
