Great for winter!

Luxurious
4I bought both this and the much larger Honey Potion Plus when both were on offer, and tried this one first. I use a lot of face masks, probably 3/4 a week, of different types, and this is pretty special for a rinse off 'gel' type mask! It smells divine, the honey scent is subtle but comforting. There was tingling when I applied it, which was the mask warming up as I massaged it per instructions until it turned into a white cream. It felt really silky, and although sticky feeling at first this didn't really bother me. Afterwards my skin was left feeling very soft and smooth, and I noticed that it felt less tight than usual - which was exactly what I wanted after using a fair few acidic products recently! I'm not sure if I'll buy this specific one again, simply because I am yet to use the Plus version, but one of them is definitely going to find its way into my evening routine!

It's great
5Smells great I'm obsessed with honey at the moment, the packaging is nice and the spatula is magnetically stuck to the jar. It feels good and warms up on your skin but does sting a little bit.

Nice product
4Love how my skin feels very smooth after using it. Wasn’t expecting that super stingy feeling while leaving it on though. Not sure if that’s normal or if I’m just overly sensitive. But as long as you pass the burning sensation it feels great after.Â

A nourishing mask
4I’m not sure if this mask quite lives up to all of the hype that it gets, but I do think it’s very nourishing. I suffer from dry skin once the weather turns cold and I add this mask back into my routine then. I think the magnetic packaging is genius! There is a slight warming sensation when using this mask, but I personally like it.Â

Lovely packaging!
4I have to admit I only really bought this because I couldn't resist how it looks- which turns out to be the best thing about it. The packaging is beautiful and it looks so gorgeous on my bathroom shelf. I love the wooden lid and the little metal spoon it comes with which even fits to the lid with a magnet. The product itself is ok- it is a very sticky texture like actual honey- and it warms slightly as you massage it onto your face. I don't particularly find it very soothing for my skin though- in fact it made it sting a bit which I wasn't expecting. Afterwards, my skin feels ok- not especially moisturised or soothed at all- not sure it will be repurchased...

Not for me :(
1I really wanted to love it! After reading reviews, I thought it will be warm and soothing, but instead it felt like nettles ony face. When I rinsed it off my skin was very red and angry. I do not have sensitive skin either, so really puzzling what my skin did not like. Not one for me :(

Really soothing
5I really love this as a once a week fix for my skin, it's incredibly soothing and leaves my oily, reactive skin feeling relaxed, calm and supple. I love the whole process of using the product, from the ergonomic spatula to the heating of the product on the skin. Will definitely be repurchasing!

A hug for your skin
5Can we all just take a moment for the genius at Farmacy who thought to create a magnetic spatula to attach to the lid?! Whoever you are, wherever you are, thank you! Onto the product! I treated my skin to this after spending an evening on the Common in the sunshine, my skin was feeling a little dehydrated and in need of some TLC. Paired with my Weleda Lavender bath soak this was the ideal relaxing evening ritual. My skin felt so nourished, plumped, and perfectly hydrated after rinsing this off, and I didn't struggle with that next-day dehydration I normally would after a bit more sun exposure than I'm used to. The perfect nourishing mask to have on standby when your skin needs a little care and attention.
