Magic!
5I had previously tried The Ordinary's marula oil and liked it. Since trying to stick to Drunk Elephant products (almost) exclusively, I knew I had to do a comparison. It's a thicker consistency and sinks into the skin beautifully, giving an instant glow. It is perfect for my dry and sensitive skin!

Good but nothing special
4It is a good face oil, there is nothing to complain about. Leaves skin smooth and soft. You just have to decide whether you like the oily feeling after application. I prefer using my Lala retro cream as a moisturizer in the daytime to avoid having a shiny face. This oil works well at night or under makeup though.

Great product for the right skin type!
3Smells Divine! Not so great for oily/comb skin as it’s a very fatty oil best absorbed by dry/dehydrated skin. Absorb better on a slightly damp or toned skin. Not the best for my skin type being combination but I will be using this on my cuticles and tips of hair instead along with packing in my holiday skincare kit when my skin needs that extra boost! Great concept,natural and cute packaging!

Clogs pores
1I thankfully got a sample size along with the kit that was released for the holidays. They promote this oil as fast absorbing non clogging but every time even when I have put the tiniest amount I have woken up with zits. I don't know why this does not agree with my skin . I have pretty spotless skin otherwise . Try a sample size before you splurge on the full size.

1I have acne prone skin and it clogged my pores so badly :( I suggest trying a sample before you buy the full or mini size.

oil of all oils
5Great oil, super hydrating, little goes long way, no oily feeling, calming properties are out of the world. Never out of it. Have it in every bag that I use.

Awesome when mixed like a cocktail.
5Drunk Elephant products are amazing and they are meant to be mixed with each other. I made the mistake of applying the marula oil separately and it was abit oily for me. But once I began mixing it up with my other DE products, it gave a wonderful result. DE is definitely worth the hype! I use the marula oil during my PM regime.

3I expected miracles.. It's nice and light.. But it didn't make much difference on my skin..

Nice, but a bit disappointed
3It's a really nice product and very hydrating on the skin, but I just didn't experience that 'miracle' feeling. The packaging is gorgeous and feels really luxurious. I've used it regularly for a couple of months now and liked it - I just haven't seen that much of a change.

Fav Oil
5I have oily skin but my skin also tends to become super dry especially during winter and I have been dealing with dry patches around my mouth and this oil makes it feel so nice and hydrated. Love this!
