Contains so little...

3

I like what the product itself does for my skin, it definitely very moisturising and you don't need much for it to cover your face. But it contains so little product, it's insane, I doubt that it's 50 ml after comparing it to other 50ml creams. The cream isn’t stored in the pot you see, but a pot inside. This pot is smaller than the outer pot but still big. A few days ago I noticed that the cream is stored at the top of the pot, and approximately one-fifth of the pot has cream in it. So much packaging and plastic, so little product, such a high price point. Not sure if I will repurchase.

Favourite non-greasy moisturizer

I have acne-prone and dehydrated skin. Therefore I really hate moisturizers that are greasy and shiny. After applying Lala retro, my skin feels soft and semi-matte. It's my holy grail moisturizer.

good apart from packaging

The cream doesn't do any miracles, still, it feels good. I wouldn't buy it anymore, though, partly because I think it is overpriced but mostly because of the packaging. This product is more plastic than cream, and a good part of the cream is lost in the depth of this plastic safe. You can dismember it to a certain degree - but the amount of plastic garbage at the end is ridiculous.

New holy grail moisturiser

I can't explain how much I love this product. I have very oily acne prone skin that is also a bit sensitive. I have used so many moisturisers over the years and have always had some issue with it - Too oily or too heavy or made me breakout... Then I found this and it's incredible. I only use it at night because it's a bit heavy for me during the day but I wake up with really soft skin and no irritation whatsoever. I love the packaging as well - avoids extra bacteria getting into the product which is always something I try to be careful of so I don't break out. Their products are unscented so I find it a bit odd - it has a slight whiff of white bread or something but it's something I can easily get past and only lasts while you're applying it. It's a good thing that it is unscented though because it means no unnecessary irritants A++++ (I also have it in the smaller size so I'm never without while travelling)

Matte, but nourished skin.

I like weird synthetical smells and I like the weird pump. A nice nourishing cream that leaves a semi-matte finish.

Silky Smooth!

Really lovely creamy & rich feel to the moisturiser. It’s great on my sensitive skin as I suffer with eczema and this didn’t irritate it at all. Love the packaging also!

Skinsaver

I’ve always had dry skin and this product has done miracles for me. It’s the only product in my routine that I’ve changed and now my skin stays hydrated and supple all day, there’s no irritation whatsoever and over the course of 2 weeks it even made clogged pores vanish.

Bad product and high price

1

I have very dry skin, and after applying my skin is still dry as before. It is definitely not worth the hype. This is not better than Nivea or Garnier night cream, maybe even worse. If the price was 10 gbp, than it would be fine (not great, just naah fine) but price was 60 gbp (now is 50 gbp) this is definitely the worst cream I had when you compare value for money. Only good thing is packaging.

Not what I expected

1

I had such high expectations of this cream, given the price tag and the other reviews but this just did not work for me. I didn't like the smell at all, and it made my skin feel very dry, not moisturising for my dry and sensitive skin

I really don't understand the Drunk Elephant hype...It feels heavy at first then it absorbs and it feels dry and it smells like play dough. I would not pay even 20 euro for this ...extremely disappointing will never again buy Drunk Elephant.
