Not worth the price
3I've only used a sample of this serum, not realising the price of a bottle. Oh. Wow. I usually use an own brand serum from Superdrug that was recommended by Sali Huse in the Guardian and can honestly say that I can't identify any difference. It's nice, it feels ok, it doesn't rock my world.

Strengthening
4Have been using this mixed with the anti-pollution drop regularly day and night for more than a month and I could say that I can feel my skin barrier being improved. My routine was complicated enough before (am: HA + DDG vitamin c serum + sunscreen; pm: HA + good genes + oil + moisturiser) so while my skin felt and looked good (oil acne-prone skin), I was having to disrupt my skin barrier with all the strong actives to achieve the results I wanted and my skin felt quite sensitised. So I bit the bullet and bought this and while I don’t experience immediate results, I truly feel that my skin is less inflamed and sensitised. I still get some breakouts here and there, but they are significantly less red than before. I guess it’s more of a fortifying serum, and I recommend this to anyone who’s using those heavy guns like Rx retinoids and glycolic. Quite enjoying her line of products cuz they’re v gentle but the prices are still ridiculous x (Ps a joy to use after those DDG peel pads)

Underrated fantastic serum!
5I have tried most of the serums and this brand. While the hyaluronic is very famous, I find that the calming serum should be more the star of the show. I use a lot of acids and retinol/retinoids and this serum comes in great after exfoliation. It's the product for which you can see right away that it works and I guess that's what we all like. I recommend it!

Okay serum
3Used this serum for about two months and I can say that it's working but it's not life-changing. I have very sensitive skin prone to redness, allergies and rosacea, and this serum isn't the best I've tried to calm it down. The serum has a pleasant texture, it is nice to use and provides some extra hydration, but it's not calming my redness as quickly as I'd like it to nor have I noticed any significant long-term effects. I'd say it works great if the price was 5-10 times cheaper but it is far, far from £175 great.

I really love it so much
5I've been a skincare trainer for more than 10 years. After trying hundreds of skincare products, I am very strict with product quality and have high standards. I am satisfied with this calming serum, which really calmed down my skin when I suffered from sudden redness. I can now see radiance as my skin recovers. Tip: I apply HA Serum after this calming serum, and the results are amazing.

My holy grail
5Originally tried a sample of this serum and I was hooked from first use. Especially if you use any type of exfoliating acids on your skin, this is a MUST! My skin is calm, hydrated and plump after use and I will never be without this. Highly recommend ⭐️

Fabulous serum
5I love this serum, great for rosacea. I use a few drops with hyaluronic serum. The only problem is the products are so expensive.

A calming and effective serum for sensitive skins...
5This is my second bottle of Calming Serum and I wouldn’t be without it as it’s excellent for calming rosacea, general redness and sensitivity. Basically, any skin trauma. I use the serum after any aesthetic treatments: fillers, derma roller treatments and micro-dermabrasion. This serum can be used immediately after cleansing, before your moisturiser and also works well with any anti-ageing serums. Dr Sturm’s revolutionary purslane does excellent work by calming inflammation quickly. The product is non-greasy easily absorbed and compatible with dry and oily complexions.

The Skin Queen
5Ever since I discovered Sturm, I have not been able to fault any product. The calming serum does exactly as it says and reduces and inflammation or redness that one might get. I suffer with terrible redness around my nose area and the calming serum works every single time to reduce it. Thank you Barbara for your skin care!

Skin-changing formula
5I went for it and bought this along with the Anti-Pollution Drops and Glow Drops. This combo has changed my skin! It's pricey but I'm constantly on a lookout for products that will improve my skin - I have blemished and dull skin. I'm also willing to make the investment as long as they don't cost more than US$250 a piece. Tried these 3 in combination and tried them separately for 4 weeks and my skin is now 70% even-toned and has a nice glow! I've also brought them on long flights and they work sooo well to keep my skin hydrated and less dull. Based on separate trials, the Calming Serum is top of my list followed by the Anti-Pollution Drops. I think Barbara's anti-inflammatory philosophy in her skincare works much better on my skin than I expected. I forgot to add that I also have the Sun Drops (LOL) and while not horrible, it's not something I would run out and get. Save your bucks on that one.
