Brilliant toner to balance the pH of the skin
4Definitely a game-changer. I use the darker tones foam cleanser twice daily, which has been great at keeping blemishes at bay - particularly maskne. I use the toner twice daily (2 pumps on two spread pads) and I glide each pad on each half of the face. This toner balances the pH and nicely primes the face to allow the DBS serums' to absorb perfectly. Also has minimised my pores and reduced the oil production in my T-zone, so much so, that I do not need to blot at all throughout the day - a first for me!

Big Disappointment
1I had big expectations from this toner, downgrading from my previous miracle toner, to try this, but had proven the opposite. It features awesome ingredients, as a toner it is supposed to pre-hydrate the skin before the next routine step, but my skin feels rather suddenly dry after using it. It gives me an urge to do a next step of my routine :( Perhaps it only works when used with other Dr. Sturm goodies.

Leaves skin feeling soft and clean...but terrible packaging
4This is my first Sturm product, having heard so many good things about Dr. Barbara Sturm I wanted to give the brand a go. This toner does not disappoint. Even with careful double cleansing, there can be residue left on my face which this toner picks up. It's also gentle enough to be used in the morning to clean off excess sebum. I am, however, knocking off one star because the packaging is dreadful. The pump CONTINUALLY leaks around the neck. For £45, I'd expect a pump that works and no product wastage. I'm not the first person to point this out either so it's a shame they haven't fixed the packaging issue.

Silky smooth and clean skin
5I've been using the balancing toner by Barbara Sturm for almost 6 months. I refuse to change it even though I've been advised to try other products. Combine the balancing toner with the foam cleanser and you will start seeing results within days. recommended for all skin types.
