This is a super simple, very gentle cleanser that would suit those looking for a minimal formula laced with antioxidants. I have preferred using this starting on dry skin and then slowly emulsifying it with water as opposed to starting on damp skin. It rinses really clean and leaves no residue, so no need to use it alongside a face cloth. As a heavy makeup wearer, this only works as a morning and second cleanse for me, but I really appreciate the clean and fragrance-free formula as I have sensitive skin.

So Gentle!

I love this kind of cleanser; a gel that turns into a beautifully gentle milk that thoroughly cleans my skin. It leaves me feeling balanced, so no dryness (or stripped feeling) and oil is controlled (perfect for my combination skin) whilst still leaving a gorgeous radiance to the skin. I feel brighter, fresher, and my skin looks more even. A great first step in my routine!

Disappointing

Despite it’s beautiful packaging this is a shockingly poor cleanser. The gel turns to a milky water immediately on contact with skin, it doesn’t actually remove make up and you need to use an awful lot of it. I am so frustrated with it (and the fact that the narrow tube falls over every five minutes on the shelf that I’ve given up and thrown it away. Glossier’s milky jelly cleanser wipes the floor with this - get that instead.

I'm not really one to get excited about cleansers, but I was gifted this and I'm really impressed. Super gentle on my sensitive skin, but cleans off all makeup. I'll definitely repurchase.

I was looking forward to trying this product as a follower of Garance Dore, but unfortunatelly I was very disapointed with it: It does not really clean unless you use a lot of it and even so, skin does not feel clean.
