Golden shampoo and conditioner
5Love it! I have naturally dark blonde hair which I'm going back to after lightening my hair for many years. This shampoo and conditioner has toned down the lighter lengths of my hair and brought out the natural colours in my roots. I was worried that it wouldn't suit my hair (dry lengths and roots that are easily overloaded by conditioner) but it's made it hydrated and shiny without being weighed down. Brilliant.

Honey blonde hair
3I bought the blonde shampoo and conditioner from this range. My hair is natural dark blonde with dyed peroxide blonde highlights and after a few washes this changed my hair colour to more darker honey/yellow blonde colour rather than the white/peroxide blonde I pay for my hair to be. I didn't like the effect so I had to use lightening shampoos to reverse the change. However, I'd say if you have all over natural blonde hair or you do actually want a dark honey shade of blonde then this does actually work well. CULT BEAUTY reply: I'm sorry to hear you are disappointed with your purchase. For hair that's a peroxide white colour I would highly recommend using the Silver Fox colour to maintain light, cooler tones.

Disappointed
2After trying a few other Davines products that turned out even better than expected I decided to give this and the matching conditioner a shot. I have dark brown hair so picked up the chocolate brunette one. While shampooing my hair is usually a little knotty but nothing that a bit of finger combing doesn't sort out. After shampooing with this my hair was in an awful state and took me a really long time to comb out the knots before conditioning. The second time I tried it with my normal shampoo first which helped a bit, but I was still left with a knotty tangle and found that when dry my hair tangled up quicker than it usually does. I used it three times over a week along with the matching conditioner and didn't notice any difference to the colour of my hair, and the only actual difference it made to my hair was leave it feeling dryer and more prone to knotting than usual. Unfortunately this stuff won't be coming near my hair again =(
