Great buy
5Such a unique palette, I can do my whole face with it and it’s so easy to blend. The pans could’ve been bigger but that’s not too much of an issue

One of the very rare times I've returned a product
1Unfortunately, my experience with the Danessa Myricks Beauty Groundwork Palette has left me quite disappointed. While I had high expectations given the brand's reputation, this particular product fell short in several key areas. Firstly, the color payoff was not as vibrant as I had hoped. The shades, both matte and shimmer, appeared lackluster on my skin and required multiple layers to achieve any semblance of intensity. This was particularly frustrating, as I expected a higher level of pigmentation from a palette at this price point. Moreover, the texture of the eyeshadows felt inconsistent. Some shades were chalky and difficult to blend, while others had excessive fallout. The fallout issue was especially problematic as it resulted in a messy application process and required additional cleanup. The longevity of the eyeshadows was also questionable. Despite using a quality eyeshadow primer, I noticed significant creasing and fading within just a few hours of wear. For a palette that claims to offer long-lasting color, this was a major letdown. Additionally, the packaging, while visually appealing, felt flimsy. The palette lacked a secure closure, and I experienced some difficulty keeping it intact during travel. This compromises the overall convenience and portability of the product. In summary, the Danessa Myricks Beauty Groundwork Palette did not meet my expectations in terms of color payoff, texture, longevity, and packaging. Given the price tag, I expected a higher-quality product. Unfortunately, this purchase was a regrettable investment, and I would caution others to thoroughly consider their options before purchasing this particular palette. Thankfully Cult beauty allowed me to return it.

4Very unique palette the creams are more a cream to powder which is nice and different. Took off a star as ever so slightly patchy

Obsessed
5I love this palette so much. The pomades are perfect as lip liners, eye shadows, eyeliners. The powders add those perfect finishing touches. I feel like I’ve gotten a whole new set of makeup from just one product.

Groundwork palette
4Amazing palette it blends really well and is really useful being able to use it for eyeshadow eyeliner and lip liner!! I just wish the powder was as big as the pomade

5Words can't express how obsessed I am wth this palette. The colours are beautiful, the payoff is just right... and the fact that it can be used anywhere on the face? It's cut my make up bag packing volume in half!

Amazing!!!
5I was really hesitant to buy this palette because I couldn’t find it to swatch in stores where I live… I couldn’t not buy it because everyone(!!!) was talking about it! I’m so glad I did!!! The putty consistency shades are my most used everyday! I feel like my eyelids are quite crepey and these don’t accentuate any lines! I use the neutral light colour on my lid and use a brown shade ( they are all good) as a super quick eyeliner flick! So easy and quick to use! Definitely recommend!

Truly Unique
4This palette has such a unique concept as you can use it on your whole face so if you like getting your money's worth it is a good investment. The neutral tones suit many looks and skin tones and the pomade formula makes for an excellent base. I did find the pomade difficult to pick up with certain brushes, so I recommend a denser brush. The powders blend like a dream!
