Dew Wet Balm Review
5Such a great product! I'm becoming more of a fan of products that highlight using texture rather than pigment, and this is just great. It's a balm, but quite liquidy when you touch it, and really easy to apply to skin. I use my fingers to apply, and it just leaves a really great glow that lasts a really long time. Skin colour and type: Very fair/pale and quite dry/dehydrated.

Sticky disaster
2I don't understand how a person with hair can like it. It is so sticky and greasy. It dissolved my foundation and blush completely and then my hair was sticking to my face all the evening. Disaster.

Underwhelming
1Really cheap packaging which wouldn’t usually bother me but it’s not nice to touch, the lid broke in my makeup bag and the Vaseline (because that’s all this is) smeared over everything. I’ve had it a week and all the print has worn away from the lid. Pointless product.

Disappointing
1This was my first Danessa Myricks product and I really wanted to love it. It's basically just micas in vaseline, doesn't set down at all, so your hair will constantly stick to it (if you have long hair.) I'm a fan of glowy products, but this one was a huge miss for me.

Erm…
1I hate this product, it’s overpriced vaseline. You can’t tell you to have anything on and when someone did notice they asked why I had vaseline on my face. Don’t waste your hard-earned money.

Divine
5I have this in holy water after discovering how different shades of highlight work well against brown skin, and I am forever converted. The formula is creamy and bouncy, and 'holy water' is such an effervescent and nectarous shade that compliments the golden undertones in my skin beautifully. I also really appreciate the fact that you get so much product for your money, this is sure to last me ages!

Fabulous
5I adore this highlighter. I use my fingers to just dab it exactly where I need it. It gives a gorgeous natural highlight (shade 'clear'). I bought it based on the reviews here and I'm glad to say I'm converted.

LOVE
5I love my Dew Wet Balm in Clear so much! I keep it in my purse because it's perfect for on the go glow. It's so easy to use, I literally use my fingers to apply it. I'm so happy Cult Beauty now carries this!!!

Making the Moon Jealous
5I have historically overdone my highlighter (ABH Aurora used to be my go to for this) in a bid to outshine the moon. The issue with that was that in a less 'complete' look it just looks like shine for shines sake (no bad thing really) and a bit Tin-Man-esque. Dew Wet Balm gives me the most natural luminosity I have found, it is glazed donut gleam without the stickiness. I have the Clear and Holy Water and in the run up to Summer I'll be getting Morning Dew for my temples, cheekbones, clavicle and maybe even a swipe up on my calves too!

Total flop
1I was really excited about this product and sadly it turned out that it smells really weird, like plastic or some rubber - definitely very toxic scent. The scent fades away after several minutes but I decided I won’t risk wearing this on my face as from experience I know my skin often reacts to product that have some strange scents. The texture of the product is emolient but not sticky. I have a shade morning dew which sadly has glitter and that is not what I was hoping for when trying to find “glass skin effect” product.
