Perfect Trial Size
5I hesitated buying the Magic Creams as they’re at the top end of my budget but now I understand why! The 15ml is a perfect trial size as the reviews were mixed. I think it’s probably better for us older gals. On my mature, dry skin it’s ideal. Yes, it is more of a balm than a cream but you don’t need much. Combined with the day cream, I’ve certainly seen a difference and will now splash out on the larger jars. In my opinion, however, if you can’t afford both, just get the day cream as my skin drank it in but perhaps that’s because I tried the day cream first.Â

Lovely night cream
4I really like this, particularly at the moment as my face is dry. It's quite heavy and has a slightly sticky feel, but is lovely and moisturising. I don't think I'll be using it in warmer weather, as I don't tend to need anything this rich in the summer. If they did a light version I'd certainly be interested! It is however quite expensive. I got it with a voucher which helped, full price is a bit steep.

Good for dry skin
4Think Charlotte Tilbury night cream is best suited for dry mature skin. As the cream is very thick but suit me.

5I suppose it all depends on the time you put it it on. I love this night cream. It’s the best I have used. I tend to put on at least an hour before bed so it sinks into my skin. The next morning, my skin is soft.

This was so disappointing and nothing like advertised.
1I am a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury, especially the Magic Cream and Serum, so when I saw they had brought out a night cream I couldn’t wait to try it. Unfortunately this looks nothing like advertised in the photo, and that’s quite misleading (it’s the official photo). I was expecting the luxurious cream that you usually get from CT, but this is more like a paste than a cream. When I applied it, it felt quite uncomfortable and it didn’t sink into my skin, in fact it stayed on top and became quite sticky and tacky. When I went to bed, I could still feel the paste and it literally stuck to my pillow and the following morning I couldn’t wait to wash it off. As if that wasn’t bad enough, both my eyes and checks swelled up and I had to take an antihistamine. I did Google the product to make sure that I had applied it correctly and saw that others had also found it to be quite sticky. As the swelling on my face had cleared. I did try the product again that night, just to make sure I had applied it correctly and the results were exactly the same as the previous night, only this time I hadn’t waited until the morning to remove it as it felt really unpleasant and tacky after a few hours and once again my eyes and face swelled up. I have obviously stopped using it.Â
