Very gentle retinol
5This is a very kind and gentle retinol. I did not react to it at all. I think it is making a difference but I won’t know for another few weeks.

4Very reasonably priced and I like that it isn't too drying with it being a retinol it's more like a cream, doesn't sting but my skin does feel nicer from using it.

5Doesn’t irritate. Super mild and you see results. Skin is smooth and scars are going after 3 months. Look forward to the next 3 months of use.

Hard to tell
3Hard to tell the difference, although I enjoy other Cerave products. Also didn't like the texture of the serum – doesn't sit nice on the face

Reliable
4I tend to use this during that ‘time of the month’ as I tend to break out and get left with blemish marks. This sorts my skin out and helps to calm my skin - reducing dark sports without irritation and ensuring it’s moisturised. I’ve given 4 stars as I couldn’t find the retinol % on the packaging.

Pretty good for price
4This has really helped tighten and brighten my skin, I’m sure there’s better on the market but this is a great affordable option.

Gentle Retinol
4I have a love / hate relationship with retinol. Some are too strong and really make my skin “purge” but I know cerave products to be quite gentle. This retinol doesn’t disappoint, after using it a few times my skin hasn’t reacted but seems hydrated and more even. Haven’t used it long enough to give 5 stars.
