The regular formulation is better
3I bought this because I really liked the regular mascara but it always smeared under my eyebrows. Â So I bought this and it really doesn't leave stains but the lashes aren't the same.

Unconvinced
2This mascara is waterproof and didn’t smudge even in the sea, however the mascara itself is disappointing - I didn’t feel like it opened my eyes, lengthened my lashes or made me look like I was wearing a good mascara. Minimal effect.Â

It’s alright but does transfer onto eye bags
3So For months I’ve been trying to find a mascara that doesn’t transfer onto my eye bags to make panda eyes after a few hours. I love the non waterproof version of this but again it transfers so I wanted to try this one and hope it stays on my lashes but this one ain’t it. It makes my eye lashes look so gorgeous and long but unfortunate that it transfers

Mixed bag
3Probably easier to split this review into pros and cons because I’m aware mascara is very much down to preference in formula. cons- Wet formula. This means it can be messy to apply initially, but I personally have also found that even after several weeks it is only slightly more dry to apply. Some transfer, which I wouldn’t usually expect from a waterproof formula. This point is a weird one though, because you can be caught in a downpour and it goes nowhere and yet you’ll have transfer at the end of the day on the undereye. Pros- Very volumising Extra black You don’t need to apply multiple coats

Good to hold a curl
4I love the original bad gal but not the panda eyes after 10+ hours days out. This isn't smudge or transfer proof but is better than bad gal original. I like that it really holds the curl in my eyelashes when I curl them.

Not my favourite
3When I opened it, I didn’t liked it too much. To much product when applying. But after 2 weeks, once it was a bit drier, I prefered.Â

Terrible. Do not recommend!
1Love the original Bad Gal Bang but I get really bad transfer below my eyes and on my brow bone so I was excited to try the waterproof version. However, it’s so disappointing! I still get the same smudgy transfer and panda eye effect, even without any moisture being present. Literally within an hour of doing my makeup I’m having to clean up the area, yet trying to remove it when you want it gone is difficult! Absolute waste of money, I’ve given up totally on Bad Gal BangÂ

Don’t recommend
1Waterproof mascara allegedly but it smudged straight away, I wiped that away thinking it’s because I’d just applied it yet hours later still black around my eyes.. very disappointingÂ

Not smudge proof!
2I’ve been looking for a mascara that won’t smudge under my lower lashes or upper lids. I love the original Bad Gal Bang so had high hopes for this being that and then smudge proof - it was not. Really disappointed that I had to keep wiping my panda eyes throughout the day. Then when it comes to taking it off, it won’t budge!!Â

Weirdly too waterproof
3The brush is fine as far as application, it’s not a fluffy one but goes on ok (if you have compliant lashes like mine). I love the jet blackness of it. My only whinge would be, and it’s a strange one, but this is actually so waterproof that it feels like only the High Queen Beyoncé herself will be able to remove it. It seemed like nothing I have could really take it off and I felt like I tried everything. Probably not one for our friends with commitment issues.Â
