Best for staying power

These last ages, and if you apply them correctly (don't over swipe and let them dry down between coats) , aren't overly sticky. Some of the darker colours can be a bit patchy, but still worth the effort. Look up YouTube for swatches with your skin tone. I've tried Jouer (much creamier but no where near the longevity) and lime crime (too thin), so keep coming back to these. Mon Cheri is amazing.

Lasts forever - opaque in 1 coat

I tried Ginger Snap - gorgeous color, and it was opaque in one single coat. Lasted through several oily meals, hot and cold drinks for many hours without reapplying. A tad tacky, but the bread I was eating didn't seem to stick to my lips, so not a big problem for me. Note, it's very hard to remove! If you want longevity, you get it all around. I found the best way was to use coconut oil - but tons of it! Literally. It got SO much easier to remove, when I kept reapplying coconut oil to my cotton pad instead of just rubbing my lips numb, which I though necessary the first couple of times.

Good, but drying

Lasts a very long time on the lips, which also makes them very drying. They do wear off a little after eating, so you will have to reapply, like any other liquid lipstick. Not worth the dryness, for me.

Brilliant long wear

I bought three of these lipsticks - I love everything about them, they last forever, even overnight after crashing into bed in a slatternly unwashed state. I've never had any trouble removing - a swipe with a cotton wool pad & nivea eye makeup remover does the trick, no rubbing at all. But I would say the online swatches are extremely deceptive. These all come up far darker on me than the pictures would indicate (i'm fair to medium skintone). I bought Syruptitious which becomes a very deep rosewood brown on me. Versailles turns a deep MLBB pinky/brown/ nude (my favourite) and I like to Chai Chai is a honey/tan nude. I mix Syruptitious and Chai Chai to get something between the two that i'll wear a lot and to use both colours rather than sitting in the bottom of my bag. I probably have to be a bit more careful applying these because they are so long lasting and budge proof, but once on I love it. Can't recommend highly enough and the only improvement I would suggest is for over the counter availability somewhere to colour test before purchase as these can't be returned once opened.

Rubbish

It comes of the inside of the lip ☹️ And for the price really wasn't impressed! Also sticky

nearly impossible to remove

The pigmentation is great, but it is very uneven and it dries fast, feels VERY sticky. Also it is almost impossible to remove. Simple mi-cellar water had a hard time dealing with it, and Eve Lom cleanser also wasn't very effective.

Terrible

Nude shades go on awful, streaky and washed out. Disappear after not even half an hour. Waste of money.

Versailles - the perfect nude

I have a few of these lipsticks now but Versailles will own my heart for ever. I have spent so long trying to find the perfect nude and for me, this one is it. The texture is great - I know some people find it drying but compared to many other liquid lipsticks I've tried, the BB formula is great; the colour lasts well and it gives me the perfect my lips but better look.

Un-rivaled staying power

I love trying different liquid lipsticks, I have tried 10+ different brands, and Beauty Bakerie's liquid lipstick has been on my to try list for a while. The mixed reviews meant that I didn't have particularly high expectations. Which is why I was surprised that the one I bought (Versailles) turned out to be my all time favourite liquid lipstick. Yes, the lipstick is fairly tacky to begin with and it does take an unusually long term to dry down completely, but once it does it is hands down the longest lasting liquid lipstick I've ever tried. The lipstick is super opaque, which means that it is not necessary to apply multiple layers, I personally do not find it particularly drying (and my lips are naturally quite dry normally) and as I said already, the staying power is crazy. I've eaten barbecue, gotten drunk, and woken up in the morning, a full 24 hours after it was first applied, and my lipstick still looked perfect. My Beauty Bakerie lip whip is the one liquid lipstick I own where I feel like I don't have to think about what or how I am eating at all, or what I am drinking, because not even the greasiest of food will make it budge and that's just amazing. It will last all night, and there's no need to worry about reapplying it later. I will definitely buy a couple more, because Versailles is now my go to neutral liquid lipstick. Maybe I just got lucky, but I am thoroughly impressed with this formula.

Tricky but great

It's very waterproof and eating would only remove a little bit. So at first, I was facing the same problem with whole lot of people here: 1. it's sticky when you press your lips together 2. as it dries it would get super dry 3. if you didn't do it right at once, more application would look patchy, because it dry so fast. But no worry though, it dries really quick you still can do something about it before it dries completely. After you apply it, you need to thin it down, for me I use my finger, don't worry about the coverage, it's pretty pigmented. By doing it, none of the above would happen. It would be comfortable and long wearing. Also the metallic version is great and doesn't need to thin down. I only have the reds and hope this is helpful.
